Morgan Shirley has done an awesome job with Macaw.
He’s big and weak and needs to learn to sit- but that needs time. Hill work in walk and trot has helped him so much ! So lucky to live on the Downs.

Morgan and Macaw jumping a super clear in today’s 5 year old championship. A tiny rub in the jump off meant 4 faults but he was class 👌.

We had the pleasure of having Kookaburra back at livery for ten days to take to the young horse championships.
Her owner, Sam Garry bought her from us as a yearling and hasn’t she grown into a super smart 5 year old.
It was quite a step up for her but she’s been a pleasure to have. Many thanks Sam!

Knuckles. 🤎🤎🤎
3 out of 3 clears at Hickstead this week.
Ridden beautifully and effectively by Morgan (as per usual!).
He’s still a bit weak in his changes but he IS only 4!
Not sure why the judges marked him so harshly but hey ho that is this showing type of class.
He’s going to have an easy couple of weeks now and he gets to be dummy trained whilst he’s chilling. Lucky boy! 😀
He did win his share of the clear round bonus and his share of Best British bred. He can have carrots 🥕🥕🥕🥕🥕🥕🥕

Double Dare doing his thing - jumping big jumps very well! He is very well named, he likes to keep Morgan on her toes 😉
He’s a 6 year old gelding by Warrior and he’s out of Delightful Caretino (Dolce). Day off for him tomorrow, final is Sunday.
