Some excellent advice from our friends at RSPCA Preston & District Branch to help your dogs cope during the hot weather 🐶

🌞Summer is definitely here! We love the warm weather and its been a long time coming 🥳

Our dogs however can only withstand temperatures up to a maximum of 19 degrees. As the temperature rises our dogs can suffer in the heat. Here are some top tips to help keep your dogs cool this summer 🌞🐶

-Walk them during cooler times of the day such as early morning or late evening
-Never leave your dog in a hot car alone
-Ensure plenty of fresh cool water is available at all times
-Provide frozen interactive feeders such as kongs and stuffed toys
and a cooling matt in the shade
-A paddling pool with cold water or hose and sprinklers if your dog enjoys it
