We’ve had a bit of a run of Border Collies lately, with Lucy staying with us for her long holiday then Charlie arriving just over a week later for his long holiday.

It’s been so nice having Border Collies around again since we lost our lovely Bob in April. We miss him so much, so having Lucy and now Charlie around has been really lovely 🐾

The chooks are still enjoying their holiday here 🐔☀️

The white Silkie cockerel was actually one of ours originally, but with too many cockerels at home, he went to live with a friend. He's now very happy with his own hens and even gets to come back and stay with us for his holidays!

Taggie's been for another little sleepover.

He belongs to our extended family, so he's been coming here since day one and this is very much his second home! He's a cheeky chappy with so much character, and we love having him here.

Our boys always make sure he heads home one very tired little terrier, ready for a long snooze! 😂💤

One of our little Guinea Pig guests, had a bit of an unexpected adventure this weekend! 🐹💚

After noticing that she seemed a little uncomfortable, we had a closer look and spotted something wasn't quite right with her eye. With permission from Daisy's family, we took her to the emergency vet, where they found a piece of hay lodged under her eyelid. The hay was removed, she has eye drops and pain relief, and she's expected to make a full recovery.

Her family has been kept updated every step of the way, and we're all looking forward to seeing Daisy back to her happy little self very soon.
