To help keep your dog as clean as possible during walks this time of year, we recommend using an Equafleece or Hurtta jacket. You can also use the Mud Daddy to rinse off muddy paws, and don’t forget to bring a towel to dry them off afterwards!

It is with deep sadness that we must announce Hugo’s will be closed to new animals until further notice. this is something we will be reviewing in the next few months.

Right now, we are in crisis. We are struggling to stay afloat while caring for the many animals who call Hugo’s their home. It costs over £2,000 every month just to keep our doors open — and that’s before any unexpected vet bills or emergencies.

The demand for our help has never been greater, yet our resources have never been so limited. Without immediate support, Hugo’s may not survive the next 12 months. We’re heartbroken at the thought that this safe haven — built with so much love and dedication — could soon be lost forever.

For the past eight years, Hugo’s has opened its doors to animals from the Highlands of Scotland to the darkest corners of London. We’ve cared for every creature in need, no matter the species, because we believe every animal deserves a second chance and a safe place to call home.

Now, we’re asking for your help to keep that mission alive.
