It's safe to say... It has been a success! 😃 ❤️

Although it's early days, our expansion into the raw dog food world has already proven to be a real hit, we've seen loads of new faces (and usual ones too 😉) and it's been lovely to see just how much you all really do spoil your furry friends!

As you can see from the before and after pictures there's been a lot of work involved. We had electrics, floating ceiling, stud walling and building repairs just to name a few before even beginning to start installing our shop fittings. The shop expands far beyond the extra visual retail space we have created, including a rear clinic and a full additional floor that will allow us to expand into events and help us improve the layout of the main pet shop. 🕷️ 🦎 🦨 🐍

Plus on top of all this we have our beautiful 120sq ft grooming room opening with top of the range grooming equipment which we anticipate opening in the next 4-6 weeks. We can't wait to update you on this! 🐶 🐈

So it's happening... Regardless!

We have really pushed over the last few months for the new natural and raw food shop to be ready to be open and we can FINALLY announce our doors will open on the 16th July 2026!

Although we still have some final implementations which will help the business run much smoother (including the walk in freezer) we are happy we can provide the local community with a quality selection of raw and natural foods. Over the next few weeks our extra frozen storage will be in place which will then allow us to start taking app orders (yes, you will be able to order your deliveries from the comfort of your home) and also the much anticipated click and collect service where your raw order will be packed and ready for you!

It's been the minor things that have postponed our opening however we wanted to make sure we had everything right! Apologies if a few minor details (Like the chuffing bespoke counter area) aren't installed, we have been chasing things like this trying to make sure everything is here on time.

Alongside this we have implemented a built in raw dog food calculator into our app to make it super easy for you to work out portion sizes for your dogs.

So come on down and join us on our opening day, see what we have to offer and pop in our main pet store whilst you're there to see all the animals upstairs.

For our opening day and the first couple of weeks our raw stock will be limited to the full Durham Animal Feeds range, First Choice Naturals, Dunn's and also Winston's. Following this our other brands including Dibo, Southcliffe and Just Natural will follow a few weeks later. We have a super selection of natural treats which we will add to weekly as we already do. 🐶

Unfortunately the groomers will not be fully operational for a few more weeks but at that time we will publish a full post and also contact everyone who's enquired about renting the groomers room individually. Drop us a call if you are interested 🤙

However Karlies Microchipping will be in full swing and as a celebration for our opening day she is offering the first 5 in person bookings a completely free microchip installation! Karlies clinic is located to the rear of the property and is by appointment only.

Keep an eye out for announcements on our events company which we will be beginning to focus on once the raw shop is rolling. Parties, school visits and so much more will be offered as part of this venture. From insane parties to educational visits our events company will be offering so many new and exciting ideas!

Once again, we are so bloody grateful that you guys have really got behind us these last 20 months to massively help us kick our family business off the ground. If we said it was easy we would be lying, it's been hard gruelling work that has quite literally almost taken the life out of us but we are here, as strong as ever ready for phase two!

To each and every one of you who's supported us, recommends or visits us from the bottom of our hearts thank you so much you really are the life support system to our business! ❤️

Keep your eyes peeled in the surrounding areas, you can't miss this van

STOLEN VAN!!!
In the night, somebody has stolen our van. It’s fully sign written up with our logos and was taken just before midnight last night.
If you’ve seen the van between then and now, please contact the shop or, the police quoting Crime Reference Number 14/121069/26
The van is distinctive due to the sign writing. Somebody must have seen it. 😡🤬😡
