It's the little things in life sometimes 🍯

We look after one of our regular customers pets whilst they go away on their travels a fair few times a year, I might have indicated how much I like honey, particularly from eastern Europe.

They brought us some lucious dark Latvian honey, European sweets and some authentic horseradish! Callie's already smashed the sweets in and I can't wait to get stuck into the honey!!

So the saga continues... Let's play how much stock we can fit in 3500 sq feet of retail space 🫣🤬

We have something for you! Over the last 16 months our small family business has gone from strength to strength allowing us to expand way quicker than anticipated and that's purely down to the love and support everyone has shown us! We won't lie, it's not been easy and it's probably about to get a little more tough but we will do it 🫣

Our new specialist raw dog food shop and groomers predicted open date is now the 12th June 2026! The raw dog food shop will open first with the grooming parlour to follow. We will then announce once licensing is complete, for our new parties and events side of the business. This date will be confirmed as we plan our grand opening. This shop is an addition to the current services and products we already offer, bringing everything any pet lover could need right on your door step here in WF9!

We can't wait to show you all phase two of South Elmsall Pets, we really hope you will all continue to support us. ❤️❤️

Exciting times ahead!!! With just a few more weeks before we can decide on an exact opening date things are really starting to come together!

Just a note to people ringing asking if we are closed, if the shutters are down, you are at the wrong shop, only the new shop has the shutters down and we are proudly open 7 days a week as usual in the main pet shop, even some of the regulars having been waiting outside the new shop 🤣🤣 Once open, both the new shop and original will be open 7 days a week!

Here's what the new shop will entail...

Brand new sales floor area for raw and natural specialists - here you will find several quality brands of raw dog food and a mega selection of loose and bulk natural dog treats and healthcare products.

Then we have a purpose built dog grooming parlour - built with our customers in mind! We are hoping to rent this out to local groomers a few times a week at an incredible price. We love to support our local entrepreneurs! Look out for our self washing option too 😍 🚿 🚿

Our microchipping and other pet services will be based in our clinic to the rear of the property. 🐶 😺

Shortly after the new shop is up and running our events and parties will become available. We have some extremely exciting animals planned for our events bringing you that something special on your door step. We are hoping to work closely with local businesses creating lots of different party packages 🦨 🐍 😍

Our additional premises is only 3 doors down from the main pet shop (to the left), straight across from the 2 hour free carpark. We are now 15 and 17a Barnsley Road, WF9 2RN
