Newark Bird Show 26th October 2025
Greetings all! We will be attending Newark Bird Sale 26th October and are now taking pre-orders. The deadline for pre-orders is 12pm Wednesday 22nd October when we load up the van and send up pre-orders via pallets. Any pre-orders recieved after this time cannot be guranteed. Because of limited van space, we will only be bringing 1kg seed bags and a very limited amount of 5kg sacks on the day. For larger seed mix sacks of 15kg or 20kg please pre-order so we bring your seed for collection at the show.
We will also have limited amount of our LumenIZE lighting range with built in automatic dimmers. They are hugely popular at the moment due to the longer nights drawing in. Please pre-order to avoid disppointment or come and visit us early. Click on the pictures to take a closer look.
How do I pre-order?

Greetings all! 10 days left to pre-order. We are taking pre-orders for Stafford bird show until 6pm Monday 29th September. We cannot gurantee any pre-orders after the cut of date should we be inundated with orders and are close to our maximum capability. Also please bear in mind we only take a limited selection of products for sale on the day, so please pre-order to avoid disappointment. We have been taking pre-orders on these new lights with built in Sunrise & Sunset effect automatic dimmers that can be run from a free app on your phone or tablet. Due to popularity stock can be very limited so please pre-order if you will be looking to purchase. We will have some lights being demonstrated on the day so please come and have a look. ATTENTION!! ⚠️⚠️ RED ANJOU MILLET SPRAYS have become very difficult to get hold of this year, as I am sure you are all aware of. We are being asked for it daily and after much hunting around I have found a supplier in Europe who is willing to send me a pallet full. However, I am a little reluctant to import it because it is not cheap and we would have to retail it at £158 per box (14.4kg) for it to be viable. So, what I am going to do it let all of you decide for us. If anyone is interested in a box or more, please let us know? We would require a deposit to reserve your order and we will need to have a total of at least 20 boxes reserved before I am happy to go ahead and bring the Anjou over at this price. Well it has been challenge to get this far but finally the little guys started to leave the nest today. The Bengalese have been completely useless at fostering the black faced Swees, i have lost 26 chicks to them. Finally though managed to get the hen to calm down and stop overlaying such large clutches and with the correct lighting, right diet and the perfect little flight they have proven why parent rearing can and will work a hundred times better then fostering!
