A few tips to keep birds and their babies that are definitely around, second clutch in this hot weather. 🐦🐣

In hot temperatures, birds need extra support. Offer seeds, fruit, or suet in shaded feeders, and always keep fresh, clean water available in a shallow dish. Place both food and water out of direct sun, refill daily, and clean regularly to prevent disease. A simple act that can save lives.🌞🐦🐣

With outside seating in either the sun or the shaded terrace, you can enjoy the tranquility of the countryside whilst enjoying a cream tea, cooked breakfast, brunch or lunch! Quality coffee, professional chefs, beautiful cakes & a delightful shopping area filled with local crafts & gifts, all with a nature theme!

Important information for wild birds in our gardens. 🐦🐦‍⬛

During a heatwave, birds need extra water to stay cool and hydrated since they can't sweat and lose moisture quickly. Water also helps them clean their feathers and cope with heat stress.

How to Help:

Put out shallow dishes of clean water.

Refresh daily and place in the shade.

Add stones for perching.

Set up multiple stations to avoid crowding.

Even a small water source can save lives during extreme heat.
