Woodlands Veterinary Group consists of two purpose built vererinary clinics quality care to animals, and their gaurdians in the Plymouth and Ivybridge areas. We pride ourselves on offering high quality veterinary care, and a friendly, welcoming environment. We offer a range of veterinary services including; first opinion consultations, 24 hour emergency care, 24 hour observation for hospitalised p

atients (by a registered veterinary nurse), a range of nurse clinics, in house diagnostics, laproscopic surgeries, orthopedic surgeons and much more. We are proud to have an excellent team of fully qualified registered Veterinary Surgeons and Veterinary Nurses. As an approved training centre we also have student nurses as part of our team. Both our practices have been inspected and are accredited by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons standards scheme. Today we had the pleasure of seeing gorgeous little Luna for her weight check! 🌟

Luna has been growing beautifully, and her updated weight means we could make sure she received the correct dose of her flea and worm treatment to keep her happy, healthy, and protected. 🐾

Regular weight checks are especially important for growing puppies, as they gain weight so quickly in their first few months. This helps us ensure they’re receiving the right amount of preventative treatment every time.

Keep up the great work Luna, we can’t wait to see you again soon! 💕🐶

🏆🖤Braveheart Award – May 🖤🏆

A huge congratulations to our May Braveheart Award winner, Rosie! 🐾

Rosie is a 3-month-old Jack Russell Terrier who came to us after a fall at home left her with a broken foot. Despite being so young, Rosie took everything in her stride during her hospital stay and underwent surgery to repair her fracture like a true champion.

She was the perfect patient throughout her treatment, winning the hearts of everyone who cared for her. We’re delighted to say that Rosie is now back at home, resting comfortably and recovering well with her family. 🐶

Meet Rupert 🐾
He’s officially stolen the hearts of all the staff at woodlands today and would certainly be welcome back any time for a cuddle! He was a brave boy for his castrate and we can’t wait to see him back for his post operative check, especially Nurse Amy who seems to be his new bestie 🫶🏼

Starting on Wednesday the 3rd June our Manadon reception area will be undergoing a well overdue make over as part of the CVS sparkle project! During this time we will be directing people to the back entrance where you will be greeted by a member of our lovely reception team. Works are scheduled to last until Monday the 8th. During this time our patients remain our top priority and we will endeavour to provide our normal level of service.
