We'll be sharing loads of tips/advice, some ad-paw-able pics and even some competitions for you to take part in - so make sure you're following along! Before you introduce your new addition to the family, it's important that you take steps to ensure that your new puppy has the best introduction to your dog.

Check their compatibility with a dog behaviourist trainer.
Ensure all vaccinations are up to date.
Try scent swapping before they meet.
Let the dogs meet on neutral ground like a park.
Introduce the puppy in a neutral area of the home.
Keep both dogs on leads to begin with.
Avoid competition by packing your current dog's toys, bowls, and bedding away.
Keep an eye on their interactions and any rising tensions.
Ensure they can be separated so they can take breaks from interacting.
