As a registered charity, we are dedicated to rescuing cats and promoting neutering. Charity Registration Number: 1153044.

We regret we do not have the capacity to respond individiidually to all applications. This is a 100% volunteer run charity, with passionate volunteers with commitments. Peterborough Cat Rescue helps to re-home stray and unwanted cats. We are a self financing group of people who love cats and are concerned about cat welfare. We believe that all cats should be neutered to prevent the widespread number of unwanted animals that find themselves in rescue centres. Meet Ken and Gloria, two adorable 10-week-old siblings who are looking for a loving home where they can stay together!

Ken is the outgoing one! He's a playful, confident little boy who loves interacting with people and is always ready for some fun.

Gloria is a little more reserved and takes some time to come out of her shell. But once she trusts you, she's a real cuddle bug! She can be a little skittish around loud noises, so a calmer home would suit her best.

Together, these two are an absolute joy! They love greeting their humans at the door with kisses, head bumps and plenty of affection. They're sure to keep their new family entertained and showered with love.

Ken and Gloria share a special bond, so they must be adopted together.

Please meet Lord of the Manor Dan! 👑

Dan is a big 4 yr old boy with an even bigger personality! He's a huge, super-friendly cuddle bug once he's settled into his new home. ❤️

Dan loves his cuddles on demand, but he can sometimes become a little overstimulated when being stroked, so he'll need someone who understands his signals and respects when he's had enough.

He's a boy who knows what he likes and isn't afraid to demand it! The soft side of the bed is most definitely HIS, and he'll graciously allow you to share it with him! 😂

Dan absolutely loves his home comforts and enjoys his food, so a cosy bed, a full tummy and plenty of love are the way to this big boy's heart!

🧡 Meet Simba - our playful, affectionate boy 🧡
Simba is a lovely, affectionate boy with a curious nature, playful personality and lots of love to give.

Initially a little nervous, Simba spent his first two days in foster care hiding behind the sofa. But with patience and a quiet environment, he soon found his confidence and has settled in beautifully. 🧡

Simba loves company and will happily follow you around the house. He's not a lap cat, but enjoys sitting beside you and being close.

He's also full of energy, loves feather toys and seems to think everything is a toy! Sometimes his excitement gets the better of him and he'll use his paws or gently mouth during interactions, so he needs someone who understands his boundaries. He can be shy with new people, but his curiosity soon takes over.

🐾 What is Simba looking for?

Simba needs a loving, cat experienced home where he can be the only pet, with access to the outdoors once settled.

With his playful nature, he could make a wonderful family companion. Older, cat savvy children who enjoy playing but understand when to give him space could be a great match.

Most importantly, Simba needs a patient, understanding family who will appreciate his lovely mix of affection, curiosity and playful mischief.

🥭 MEET THE BEAUTIFUL MANGO! 🥭

💕 1-year-old Mango is looking for her forever home! 💕

Mango may only have one eye, but don’t let that fool you – she doesn’t let it hold her back one little bit! This gorgeous girl is full of life, energy and personality. ❤️

Her absolute favourite thing in the whole world? PING PONG BALLS! 🏓 She could play with them for hours, showing off her playful side and keeping you entertained. She enjoys other toys too, but those little balls are definitely her weakness!

Mango is a lovely little companion who enjoys having company. She’ll happily follow you around the house, keeping an eye on what you’re up to, before settling down beside you for some quality time.

She’s not really a lap cat and isn’t keen on being picked up or cuddled for too long, but she absolutely loves a fuss, especially those lovely chin rubs! Give her some chin scratches and you’ll be rewarded with the sweetest purr. 🥰

She’s relaxed when meeting new people, including adults and older children. She’s not been introduced to young children or other animals, so we don’t know how she’d feel about sharing her home just yet.

Mango loves watching the world go by through the window, so we think she’d really enjoy having some safe outdoor adventures once settled.

🍗 A girl who knows what she likes! Mango prefers chicken-based wet and dry food, has enjoyed a little tinned tuna and, of course, is always happy to receive treats!

MEET MILTON, OUR GENTLE GIANT!

Meet Milton, a handsome black panther with big eyes, a big personality and an even bigger heart!

At around 4 years old, Milton is an affectionate boy who absolutely loves human company. He's a little timid when first introduced to somewhere new, but give him time to settle and you'll soon discover his chatty, loving personality. He will need a patient and loving family to bring out his fabulous personality.

And when we say chatty, we mean it! Milton has plenty to say and would love someone willing to listen to his daily updates. We're not promising they'll all be interesting, but he'll certainly think they are!

Milton is a strong, well-built boy who would be happiest as the only pet in the household, where he can enjoy all the attention for himself.

This amazing donation will make such a difference to the cats and kittens in our care, helping us keep lots of hungry little tummies full.

As a volunteer-run charity, donations like this mean the absolute world to us. They help us save money on essential supplies, allowing us to put more of our funds towards veterinary treatment and helping cats in need.
