🐾✨ Wow... I can't quite believe it! ✨🐾
I am absolutely thrilled and honoured to have been nominated for an Animal Star Award. ❤️
With everything that's been going on recently with my health and cancer diagnosis, it's been an incredibly challenging and emotional time. To receive news like this right now has genuinely lifted my spirits and reminded me just how lucky I am to be surrounded by such amazing people.
I want to say a huge thank you to whoever nominated me, and to every single client, friend, family member, and supporter who has stood by me. Your kindness, encouragement, messages, and continued support mean more than I can put into words.
Working with animals has always been more than just a job to me—it's my passion, and even during difficult times, the love and support from this wonderful community has kept me going.
No matter what happens next, being nominated feels like a huge achievement, and I'm incredibly grateful. ❤️

Well that's the first treatment done, now waiting for the chemo bingo to see what, if any side effects I'll get.
My next session is 17th June so I need to contact everyone on that day and on the Monday morning as I have to have blood tests before my chemo.
I'm so sorry to mess everyone around. .

So our daughter Sophie, who is just 5 years old has entered her first grooming competition. Here's a sped up video (very sped up 😅) as her entry video was 18 mins long...
We wish her luck.x 🤞
She's now taking bookings for grooms 😂 (joking)
Feedback already from the organiser - she was speechless, Sophie is amazing and has a natural talent.

💖 A Huge Thank You 💖
I just wanted to take a moment to say a massive thank you to everyone for the incredible support, kindness, messages, cards, gifts, and love you've shown me since my diagnosis. It has honestly been overwhelming in the best possible way, and I am so grateful to have such wonderful clients, friends, and family around me. 🥰

There is still a lot of uncertainty around how much I'll be able to work during treatment. My hope is that I can continue working, even if it's in a more limited capacity, but I know chemotherapy can be unpredictable and some appointments may need to be changed at short notice.

To help ensure your dogs continue to receive the care they deserve, the lovely Katy from Hedge & Hound Grooming will be renting the pod and is happy to welcome any clients who would like to book in with her while I'm unavailable. I know they'll be in very safe and capable hands. ❤️🐾

I also want to say an enormous thank you to everyone who supported my hair-cutting fundraiser. Together we raised an amazing £1,365 for The Little Princess Trust! 🎉💇‍♀️💕 What an incredible amount, and such a wonderful cause to support.

For those asking about my treatment, I have 8 cycles of chemotherapy, which will take approximately 4 months, followed by surgery and then radiotherapy. It's going to be a challenging journey, but I'm determined to face it with a positive attitude and take each day as it comes.

🐾 Our online shop will remain open throughout my treatment, and deliveries will continue as normal. If you'd like to support us during this time, shopping with us is a brilliant way to do so while still treating your furry friends. Every order, recommendation, share, and bit of support really does make a
difference and is hugely appreciated. ❤️

Finally have a date for my chemo to start.
My last working day will be 2/6 until at least 10/6 I have availability this coming week due to preempting chemo being then and bringing everyone forward. Katy will be in the pod this coming Monday and Thursday then the 3rd onwards. Please let either of us know if you wish to book in with us.

The Little Princess Trust

That was so much harder than I thought it would be. I'll be honest, the reality really set in this morning. It's not felt real up to now, I've kept normal, working and getting on with life. But this isn't normal for me. At least it's for an amazing cause and something good is going to come out of this utterly 💩 situation.

Thank you all for your donations - over £900 raised so far! 😱😍

Currently sat waiting for yet another scan, hopefully I'll hear soon when my treatment starts. The waiting is agonising.
