🐶We need your help 🐶
✂We are seeking partnerships with esteemed dog grooming salon owners.
🎓As part of our comprehensive course, we understand how important it is for our students to gain hands-on experience within the dog grooming industry. Do you have the capacity to accommodate our students for work experience opportunities?
💖We aim to establish a network of contacts to support our students in their pursuit of becoming certified dog groomers. If you are willing to collaborate, please reach out to us and we will be delighted to add you to our list of esteemed partners.

Thank you for all your messages. We have been working through them ready for the students starting back in September. If you haven't had a response (we have had lots to get through) drop us a private message and we will get back to you asap.
For those booked in, we cannot wait to see you all again in September.

I am now in a position to begin booking dogs for the new term. For the first month we are only taking limited bookings for level 2s Wednesday to Friday meaning there may be a wait to book in and we may not be able to book styled dogs in for them for a little bit - this is while the new students are getting to grips with the course. We are currently busy with enrolments so please don't worry if we don't respond right away, all messages will be looked at as soon as we are able :)

As we approach the new year start we thought we would pop some information about grooming at the college :)
Dogs are groomed by students and supervised by qualified Level 3 City and Guilds Groomers. Our number one priority is always Animal Welfare so if we are unable to groom your dog, think that the dog may need veterinary attention or is matted we will always contact you before your dog is groomed if we haven't already spoken on drop off.
We groom in 2 sessions: Morning and afternoon. Morning drop off is 8.30 and collection is 12pm, afternoon drop off is 12.45 and collection is 4pm. Unfortunately we may not be able to accommodate late drop off or collection due to campus opening and closing times or lesson crossover as we have limited holding space.
There is a car park outside the building for easy drop off and pick up. If you take the entrance closest to Penkridge on the A449 - not the animal zone entrance - and follow the road to the end you will see Grooming and Floristry signposted which will lead you to the carpark.
If your dog is in season and you have an appointment booked please let us know. We do not groom dogs in season for both their safety and comfort and the presence of other dogs in the salon.
If your dog is found to have fleas we will contact you to collect your dog. This is for the welfare of other dogs in the salon.
Bookings are taken through messenger on Facebook so please message if you would like to book, alter or cancel an appointment. Please do not arrive for an appointment if you have not received confirmation of booking as we can only take a certain number of dogs. If you are unable to make an appointment please let us know ASAP so that we can make other arrangements for the students.
We tend to post pictures of our student's grooms through the year and ask you to sign a waiver for this on arrival. If you do not wish for your dog's picture to be used then please let us know on drop off.
We kindly ask that all dogs are kept on leads until we take them through as there are livestock in the fields surrounding and to keep dogs, owners and students safe. If your dog is barking then please stand outside the building as there are other courses operating in the building. If there is no member of staff in the foyer when you arrive please ring the bell for our attention.
Lastly, we absolutely love seeing pictures of your dogs so please feel free to message us or tag us in posts. We treat every dog as if it's our own so we adore seeing them
