It's been a while since I've done one of these and we've had quite a lot of new followers recently - so here's a bit about me! 💁🏼‍♀️

👋🏼 My name's Kirstyn
🫣 I'm 34
🎂 My birthday is two days before Christmas
🩵 I'm a mum of two boys
👩🏼‍❤️‍👨🏻 I'm married to my soul mate, Stuart
🐾 We have two dogs (Oreo & Maggie) a cat (Figaro), a musk turtle & 3 other fish tanks
💜 My favourite colour is purple (or leopard print 😅)
💉 I have quite a few tattoos - and would love more!
🤪 I'm a bit of a goofball
🍫 I have a massive sweet tooth
🍹 I enjoy the occasional bottomless brunch with the girls
🐢 I got to fulfill my dream of swimming with turtles on our honeymoon in the Maldives 🥹 (we also swam with black tip reef sharks 😱)

I'm a huge animal lover, the lifelong dream was always to work with animals in some way or another. I know, I know, how cliché 😅 My dream career changed throughout childhood but it was always animal related (vet, zookeeper, marine biologist etc) 🐾

Before starting this business I was actually a gymnastics coach 🤸🏼‍♀️ I started training when I was about 7 and started volunteering as a coach at age 11. I then worked my way through multiple qualifications in all disciplines, for all ages and abilities. I gave my heart and soul to the same club until I was nearly 30! 😳

After finishing my time at the girls grammar school, I went to college and received my level 3 diploma in animal management 😍 I wanted to start following the dream then, however I was offered full-time hours coaching so took the chance to be earning a decent wage straight out of college 🤭

It wasn't until my youngest son approached school age that I decided it was time for change. There were MANY factors leading to such a huge change, it was an incredibly difficult decision as gymnastics had become my entire life. It was my identity. But I needed to make some serious changes for my own benefit as well as for my family. So with a 'gentle' nudge from my husband, I went for it! 🙈

I received my boarding licence in 2022 and run this business solo! (Although I do get a bit of help from hubby and the kids). It's a lot of hard work, an awful lot more goes into it than many people realise, but it's so worth it! To finally be living my dream of working with animals, whilst also being around for my kids and my family whenever they need me 💜
