Most people probably think we’re spending this gorgeous weather sat in the garden with a cold drink 🍹☀️, topping up our tan and enjoying the sunshine 😎🌻…

The reality? 👇

We’re stressing 😬

This week alone, we’ve cancelled over 50 dogs 🐕💔

Not because we can’t be bothered to walk in the heat 🚫🌡️

Quite the opposite.

We’ve cancelled because we always put the dogs first 🐾❤️

We’re worrying about the loss of income 💸

We’ve still got bills to pay, wages to cover, and a business to run 💷📋

We’re worrying that clients are rolling their eyes 🙄 and thinking we’re being over-cautious.

And if we’re being completely honest…

We’re also worrying about what happens if this heatwave continues all summer ☀️🔥

What if this becomes our new normal?

As small business owners, we’re always thinking ahead, always planning, always trying to work out how we’re going to make things work 📅🤯

But here’s the thing…

We would rather lose income 💸❌

We would rather cancel walks 🐕❌

Than ever risk a dog’s health or life for the sake of a booking 🐾❤️‍🩹

These temperatures can be dangerous 🌡️🔥, and no amount of money is worth taking that chance.

So if you’ve been affected by cancellations this week, thank you for understanding 🙏❤️

We’re not trying to make life difficult.

We’re simply trying to keep your dogs safe 🐾🥰
