☀️ HOT WEATHER REMINDER ☀️

With the warmer weather arriving, please help keep your dogs safe and comfortable before their grooming appointments 🐶💛
Whilst I will endeavour to keep my room as cool as possible, some breeds may be particularly vulnerable in the heat.

• Please avoid walking your dog in the heat before their appointment where possible. Hot pavements and high temperatures can quickly lead to overheating and heat stroke.

• If your dog arrives excessively hot, panting heavily or distressed, I reserve the right to refuse the groom for their safety.

• To help prevent dogs from becoming too warm during drying, some dogs may leave the salon slightly damp. Their wellbeing will always come first.

• Some breeds may be rearranged, especially if their appointment is in the afternoon when the temperature is at its highest. This is for their safety due to their breed.

I appreciate your understanding and cooperation during the hot weather 🌞🐾

A polite request please.
Could customers please refrain from purposely allowing their dogs to piddle up the house wall outside the grooming room. Please remember that this is my home as well as my work environment.
Accidents happen, and I appreciate that, and most of you are good enough to let me know if a piddle or poo has occurred.
But to watch your dog go to toilet on the path or up the house wall or door, and not let me know, isn’t acceptable.
I spend quite some time disinfecting areas in the grooming room after an accident has happened, without stepping outside and finding more.
I would appreciate it if your dogs could be toiletted before coming for their groom. There is a nice area for this on the estate heading towards the school end.

When is this rain ever going to end!!!

To help rid the horrible mud and dirt that your dogs are undoubtedly collecting for you, I am holding a Shampooch Wash Day on Saturday 21st February.

All washes are £19.99 (more for the heavy coated or large breeds) with an additional £3.99 if you would like to upgrade to a madra-mud treatment with a choice of hydrating mud, soothing mud, mobility mud or deshedding mud.

Included in the wash are two coat specific natural shampoos, ear cleaning and a rhubarb facial mousse massage. Finished with hydrating silk serum to enhance the natural oils of the coat.
