Tortoises along with many other reptiles can have tonnes of variety in their diet and it’s extremely important to mix it up a little! If you would like some advise on what you can feed, give us a shout and we can send some care sheets over🐢

🦎Cb Male Painted Agama🦎

That’s right, this is the last of our painted agamas and oh how we will miss them! They are so underrated and make amazing additions to the family.

This boy here is the dad to all our little ones we had not so long ago, you can tell where they got the blue from🤩

A lot smaller than the Bearded Dragon, this species is very similar in a lot of ways. He loves his food (especially veg) and will do almost anything for a cricket🪳

🦎Cb25 Pictus Gecko🦎

This little chap hatched in store and we have been extremely excited to see his progress! He will now be around the 6 month mark so has a lot more growing to do😃

Pictus Geckos are quite reserved and are similar to leopard geckos in many ways. They reach 4-6 inches and are nocturnal meaning you won’t see them too much during the day but they will be out and about during the night!

🐍Harvey The Bull Snake🐍

Meet Harvey, a sassy bull snake who is all bark no bite! He is slightly on the anti social side but that doesn’t take away from his huge personality.

This species have keeled scales giving them a rough texture rather than a smooth and shiny one. This helps with camouflage by reducing light reflection and it also provides mechanical traction when burrowing and climbing😃

Bull Snakes are quite interesting, when they feel threatened, they will flatten their heads, puff out their body and rattle their tails. All of this whilst hissing extremely loudly.

A big delivery of aquatic plants has just dropped and they make the perfect addition to any tank!

If your looking to add more hiding spaces for the fish or even to brighten up your space, aquatic plants do just that 🐠

Let your mind be put at ease by knowing that they are snail free, you don’t have to worry about getting invaded (we know how annoying it can be)😅

By adding plants, you will see a noticeable difference to the water quality which is what we strive for!

She is happy to be handled and feeds extremely well, she is always out and about. We strongly recommend having climbing opportunities for this species as they definitely use it!

We do provide full set ups suitable for her and any advice needed to ensure she has the best of the best😊

🦎🐍🦜What is Outback Oddities?🦜🐍🦎

We thought we would do a little introduction in to who we are and what we do!

Here at Outback Oddities we supply a wide range of products for all domestic, aquatic, exotic and bird species. We also sell aquatic and exotic livestock along with all the necessary advice and aftercare needed for them to thrive.

You will never see any wild caught animals in our store as we strongly believe that captive bred is the most ethical and safest way to keep species. We work closely with local and reputable breeders to ensure you will be receiving the healthiest animal possible.

Rescue work is another part of Outback Oddities that we are extremely proud of. We strive to help as many individuals as we can from any situation. All animals deserve a second chance no matter the circumstances, this is why we help to rehabilitate those that come to us in poor condition and work with them until they are ready to be rehomed❤️

We will always be transparent about the background and current situation of any animal that comes through either the rescue or as stock!

Holiday boarding is a popular service we provide. We house all animals in accommodation that we ourselves would keep our own animals in. We are currently revamping this area in order to expand as the demand keeps growing, don’t worry, we still provide this service while the works continue 😃

Aftercare is extremely important to us, this is to ensure your pet is happy and healthy. We provide nail clipping, general health checks, water testing (aquatics), stuck shed removal and so much more.

I could go on and on but I don’t think you all want to read an essay😅
