Thank you. The response to our news last week has been some what overwhelming.
We’ve had so much reaction it’s taken us by surprise and getting back to everyone is proving a long task.
Two of the main things being asked is:
1. How bad is it?
The video shows the scale of the task in front of us. We have extensive experience of sorting kennels like this out with our sister company in Horbury Bridge, Idesign Fabrications so it will get sorted.
Plans are being formulated and we are committing both effort and finances to turn them into a good space.
2. When are you opening?
No idea. We aren’t rushing. We are going to get this right so it’s going to take as long as it takes.
We are looking to partner with rescues so if you would be interested in renting kennels please get in touch. Now’s a great time as we can refurbish to specific requirements.

We are now the proud owners of the former Flushdyke Kennels.
We are well aware of the history of the place and as local residents and business owners (we also own idesign fabrications, a kennel and cattery manufacturer in Horbury Bridge) we are looking forward to a journey of refurbishing the kennels to our high standards. This isn’t going to be a quick or easy task but we are well prepared for the challenges ahead.
The council are onboard and in their words, we are delighted you’ve taken them over.
We look forward to making the kennels a great place again in the heart of Ossett which as a community has always pulled together to help the dogs.
