What a gorgeous bunch! 🐾

It still amazes me that people travel all the way to stay at FPC. This lovely gang have been making the journey from Liverpool for over five years now, and we’re so grateful for their continued trust and support. Watching these familiar faces return year after year is something truly special. ❤️

Today was Ashlee’s last day with us before the arrival of her beautiful baby girl. 💕

As many of you know, Ashlee was part of our team a couple of years ago before returning to us late last year. It has been an absolute pleasure having her back and working alongside her once again.

The dogs absolutely adore you, and we’re all going to miss you so much! ❤️

This isn’t goodbye – it’s simply “see you later.” We can’t wait to meet your little girl and watch you embrace this incredible new chapter. Enjoy every second of your precious baby bubble, soak up all the cuddles.

This one hits harder than most. 🖤

13 years ago, in my early 20s, I dropped out of university with no real direction. I decided to take a chance and set up Findlay Pet Care.

Bumble was my very first daycare dog all those years ago. Just a couple of weeks ago, he had his final stay with us, and today he sadly crossed the rainbow bridge. 🌈🐾

To most people, this is just a job. But it’s so much more than that. We see the same dogs every day, every week, for most of their lives. We watch them grow, celebrate their milestones, and eventually have to say goodbye.

They become family.

We just wanted to say a massive thank you to all of our wonderful clients for your understanding and flexibility during this week’s heatwave.

Whether it was cancelling walks, rearranging to much earlier time slots, or making alternative plans, your support has helped us put the dog’s safety and welfare first during these extreme temperatures.

While making these changes has meant taking a financial hit this week, we firmly believe that no walk is worth risking a dog’s health. Their wellbeing will always be our number one priority.

We’re incredibly grateful to have such caring owners who share the same commitment to keeping their dogs safe, happy, and healthy.

Thank you for your continued support and understanding. ❤️

☀️ A gentle reminder as the temperatures rise this week – please avoid walking your dogs during the midday heat.
I know I mention this often, but it’s so important. All of our dog walks will be completed by 11am to help keep everyone safe and comfortable. If you’d prefer to cancel a walk or daycare session due to the heat, that’s absolutely fine — your dog’s welfare will always be our top priority.
To help keep our daycare dogs cool and happy, we have paddling pools, cooling towels, plenty of fresh water, and lots of shaded areas for them to relax in throughout the day.

For the first time EVER in over 10 years of running the business, we will be closing for 17 days for a very special trip with the children. 🏰 🐭

We wanted to give you as much notice as possible. Our last working day will be Wednesday 21st October 2026, and we will return to work on Monday 9th November 2026.

Once again, thank you all for your understanding, your continued custom, and for trusting us with your amazing pooches. We love every one of them as if they were our own. 🐾❤️
