This is my cousin’s dog who has sadly now passed away as a result of this horrible attack. If you have any information about this incident which happened in Standish, please get in touch. RIP Hugo 🐶🌈

😢Unfortunately beautiful little Hugo was attacked around 10:30pm last night on the line in Standish behind the car wash and brittania hotel.
Description given is a large brown dog of possibly pitbull type and was off lead. Lady with dog also had a young girl.

"As it stands he’s in a stable condition after the wonderful efforts of the two vets who I can’t thank enough. He’s had X-rays, wounds stitched and now they are doing a CT scan for his spine and back legs as he’s struggling with them.
I hope if you do read this that you have the decency to contact myself or my partner."
