🐾 Bobby the Brave 🐾

Less than a week ago, Bobby was rushed to us after being hit by a car. He was critically ill, suffering from shock and internal bleeding. Scans and X-rays revealed a severely lacerated spleen, and he was truly on death’s door.

Thanks to the efforts of our vets, John and Arlene, Bobby underwent emergency surgery to remove his spleen. It was a long and difficult procedure, but the team worked around the clock to stabilise him and give him the best chance of survival.

💙 And just look at him now! Only days later, Bobby has amazed us all with his courage and resilience. It’s hard to believe this bright, happy face belongs to the same dog who was fighting for his life less than a week ago.

We are so proud of Bobby for his bravery and so thankful to his family for trusting us with his care. 💙🐾

Macie-May brought in her beautiful Golden Retriever, Hunter, for his annual vaccinations today. He was exceptionally well-behaved and clearly very well cared for — a credit to his owner. A pleasure to have them both in the clinic. 🐾 Fairgreen Veterinary Centre

It is with deepest sadness that the partners and staff of Fairgreen Vets offer our sincerest condolences and sympathy on the sudden death of our valued colleague Vanessa Whyte, and her children James and Sara.
To Vanessa's family, relatives, friends and neighbours in Fermanagh and in her beloved Co. Clare our hearts go out to you at this difficult time.
To her veterinary colleagues, past and present, we can only imagine the void her untimely passing has left. Vanessa was a much valued and respected veterinary surgeon in her roles as a private practitioner and DAERA vet.
To the school friends and sporting club mates of James and Sara, we extend our deepest sympathy on the loss of what were undoubtedly two very talented and loved young people- both of whom we knew to be Vanessa's pride and joy.
