🐾 Keeping your pups Cool Before their Groom🐾

With the warmer weather it’s important to make sure your furry friend stays as comfortable as possible, especially before their grooming appointment.

Dogs don’t sweat like we do, they regulate their temperature through panting, and if they start off too warm, it can lead to heat stress or even heatstroke during the groom🥵

Here’s how you can help your pup…
• 🚶‍♀️ Avoid long walks right before grooming and keep exercise to a minimum beforehand
• 🚗 Travel in a cool car! use air conditioning if you can or open windows for airflow
• 💧 Offer water before leaving home.. hydrated dogs cool down more easily
• 🕒 Arrive on time for drop off and pick up so your furbaby isn’t waiting longer than needed in the heat

Grooming involves equipment that gets warm (clippers, dryers) so starting off cool helps your pup stay happy, calm, and safe throughout their visit💛

It’s with a heavy heart to post that my mum’s brother, my uncle Malcolm passed away on Thursday evening 💔

After months of battling it was time for him to be at peace 🕊️

Thank you for everyone who has asked and sent their love to my mum, it means so much! My mum has been incredible, shes the most kind, caring and loving person to ever grace this earth, if I could take her pain away I would in a heartbeat 🩵

Just a reminder for your dogs dry food coming in, we have always asked for the food to be weighted into individual portions per meal, this helps with meal times when we’re feeding 5/6 different dogs different foods, we struggle to store these massive sacks as they don’t fit into the dogs individual food draws!

Please could you take 10 minutes to bag these up to make our breakfast and tea service run as smoothly as possible! Thank you 🙏🏼

Dog parents have until July 25 to apply online - there is criteria that pups have to meet, including things like being "well-groomed and not easily distracted on TV sets." Good luck to all of our four-legged friends seeking fame! 🐾 ⭐️

She’s had McDonald’s and a full chicken previously and now a mixed grill for her birthday this year! I think Christmas has come early for our very spoilt birthday girl 💜
