Some snaps from this afternoon's trailing ✨🤩

A big well done to Lemon, Dash, Max and cookie for working on their individual challenges today.

We had a go at taking a swab of the trail layers car seat as a scent article, which was great fun and all that dogs smashed it.

Dash passed his level 10, being the first dog to reach that level - passing his first 'aged' trail!

Lemon showed us what an amazing indication she can do, as we have been working really hard to proof this with her.

We looked at reading Max's body language on the trail and set up some trails with difficult junctions to work through for him.

Cookie passed her level 8 walking find assessment after months of hard work breaking it down for her.

Our trailers this weekend have tackled Decoys, walking finds, split trails, aged trails contamination and assessments too! There's always something new to work on to keep our dogs on their toes!

And Well done to Rosie and handler Nyree for passing a challenging level 5. Rosie has worked really hard to sus out the decoys and it's lovely to see our training coming together.

And last bit not least, congratulations to Ember & handler Gillian for passing their Level 7 assessment, Ember finds this environment a challenge with all the interesting wildlife smells but she was amazing, and super fast! 🥵

I decided to record my walk today, it''s interesting to see what kind of distance we cover, which is not always loads with plenty of time to sniff and mooch at their own pace. Just a shame it drains my battery so much 😆

I was joined by some very dedicated teams this morning, we threw some challenges at the dogs who worked on different scent articles, and proofed some of their foundation work.

It might be wet and miserable, but that doesn't stop us getting out with our dogs and doing something they truly enjoy. And the best part is, they'll snooze when you get in, PJ's and fire on ! 🔥
