Some of the babies being fabulous xc schooling

Penelope (16.2hh palomino ISH) and Earl (15.1hh Connemara beautifully piloted by Ellie) 4yos both just broken in doing an awesome job and being so brave at their first go

And Pony the pony a graduate from last year, he originally came to us as a 3yo to be lightly backed then he was back last year as a 4yo after his winter break and to do his first couple of outings and he is now (as a 5yo) being beautifully ridden by his owner and I occasionally get to steal him to have a little play over new stuff 😊 it's lovely to see them growing up and becoming confident, talented horses/ponies (below he jumped his first hedge and surprised himself a bit on landing for his own effort 😂 and popped easily over the 100 water combination at Oxstalls Cross Country )

Love my babies!!

The dreading time has arrived 🙈🙈 We don't want to see him go, we would love for him to stay local or at least in touch with his new potential home as we are all very fond of this stunning boy

The legend that is Woody is officially looking for his next partner

Anyone that had the pleasure to meet him and or ride him has completely fallen in love with Woody and his kind nature

He is the sweetest, most clever, polite, cuddly gentle giant

There are no 4yo out there that offer a combination of size, temperament, type and quality like the lovely Woody

Woody is a gorgeous CLYDESDALE X WB a wonderful combination of kind willing nature from the Clydey and athleticism and trainability from the sport horse, woody is A BIG BOY with all of his almost 17.1hh and only being 4yo there is room to grow even more, he really is one of a kind

He is athletic, responsive, flashy, uphill with a soft mouth (opposite to most young cobs that ride on their shoulders) and good moving, he could be a serious dressage/showing prospect for an amateur to take up the levels and catch everybody's attention with his unusual looks.

He will be the type that falls asleep in the warm-up waiting for his turn, looking like he should be in the woods pulling logs and as soon as he starts moving you everybody will turn their heads your way, he is just impressive and so beautiful

Woody is a pleasure to ride, he is surprisingly very responsive off of the leg and the hand for his size and is polite so he needs very little strength fron the rider, which will make him suitable for a lady rider. He moves on as soon as you tap him with the leg, he doesn't need to be nagged, he is always willing to learn and and a real sweet, hard working gelding, he tries to understand what's asked of him and to tune up with his rider. He always gives a lovely feeling and you can accomplish something new at each schooling session, he is very rewarding for a horse of his age and experience.

Woody has done a LOT of hacking, he came from Ireland in a complete state, he was skin and bone so we took our time to bring him back to health, put weight and condition back on him and show him the world out hacking, he is brilliant in traffic, in open fields, through the village, in the woods, both in front and behind, you can lead two horses off him and he will safely carry and look after a less experienced rider. Always snaffle mouthed, he has been on busier national speed limit roads passing Lorries, tractors, buses etc..

Woody is not a complete ploddy switch off ride, you don't have to kick at every stride, unless you come across something spooky, in which case he will stop and have a look, like you would expect any 4yo to do but he doesn't cause any drama, he doesn't rear, spin, buck, runs off or any nonsense, you can give him a big kick and he will happily walk past whatever "scary monster" you met out on the road

Woody has recently started schooling too and what a natural he is, he improves massively at each session, he has 3 established paces, he has been over poles and popped a small jump, he is starting to be introduced to some very baby leg yielding too

He can go around the corner in canter better than some of the 14.2hh ponies of his age and all of this with a little-just-about 5ft4 lightweight rider (me 😊) on board, and at no point he has been drilled in the arena or forced in a shape, he is just very natural. He needs no brute force to be ridden, he would suit a man rider but I would like it to be a nice one with good, soft hands, it would be a shame to spoil a beautiful well produced humongous baby

He would be the perfect family horse to chuck the non-horsey husband on and put him at the back of a hack and learn to ride on (under supervision obviously!!) and then go out hunting/competing at the weekend with a more capable rider

He is never hot, silly, or naughty, he has a wonderful comfortable canter that you can sit for days, he is only 4yo and very tall so I wouldn't think he suited a complete novice, or someone looking to buy their first ever horse, but I believe a less experienced rider should be fine on him with a good support team around them and they could grow together, I would love to see him progressing and competing one day as he has all the skills to be very successful

He would look stunning in the hunting field as a master horse and I am confident he will have a good jump too once stronger and bigger, he is aware of his feet even tho they are the size of dish plates 😂

We all adore him, he is a very uncomplicated, polite boy on the ground and I trust him not to stand on my little 3yo girl when she wonders around (and underneath) him 🙈

Woody has been ridden by absolutely everyone and anyone, riders of all shape, size and experience and I am yet to find someone that hasn't completely fallen in love with him. I am myself not a fan of big horses, I enjoy little, sharp, hot ponies HOWEVER I love riding Woody and has been incredibly enjoyable to produce to far

So many reasons why Woody (17/17.1hh, Clydesdale X, 4yo) is so loved and one of them is that he takes credit for possibly the most important duty in a yard of baby horses (I know a lot of you would think he is a baby himself and yes he is! But an increadibly wise one) being a nanny for the unbroken/freshly backed youngsters

So here he is on a national speed limit road, leading the way with still unbroken baby Rocky on the lead for his first ever hack and baby Theo at the back getting his mileage out on the road, not flinching about buses or lorries and keeping a calm frame of mind that fills the less experienced horses with confidence 😊

Woody is indeed available but I have a very specific home in mind for him, he gives some wonderful feelings under saddle and is the most safe and sensible on the yard, plus adding his size and looks, there is literally nothing similar out there in the current market, I think he ticks so many boxes! I never enjoyed a BIG young horse as much as I am enjoying producing this wonderful gentle giant

Any horsey friends fancy giving a hand riding some lovely babies out hacking on Monday and Tuesday? All experiences welcome 😊 Tea and biscuits provided XX

This stunning boy never gets enough credit, I can't believe I never posted about him 🙈

He is the sweetest, most polite, soppy, cuddly but yet intelligent, gentle giant

There are literally NO 4yo of this size and type out there, Woody and all of his almost 17.1hh is really one of a kind

He is athletic, flashy, incredibly uphill (opposite to most young cobs that ride on their shoulders) and good moving, he could be a serious dressage prospect for an amateur to take up the levels and catch everybody's attention with his unusual looks, he will be the type that in the warm-up will be half asleep, looking like he should be out there in the woods pulling logs and as soon as he starts moving you will see everybody's head turning towards you

He is gentle, willing, trainable, he has a soft gentle mouth and a flexible body, him and all of his whooping 17.1hh of him!! Come on!! Where would you find a Clydesdale cross like this? And a 4 YEAR OLD!!! Imagine what he would be when he turns 8/10, absolutely gorgeous gorgeous boy. He is not a complete ploddy switch off ride, he really tries to understand what's told and wants to do well, he is responsive off the leg and don't have to kick at every stride, again so impressive for his size

He can go around the corner in canter better than some of the 14.2hh connemaras and all of this with a little 5ft4 lightweight rider on board, and he has only schooled probably 5 or 6 times all together. He needs no brute force, he is incredibly responsive and soft for a bloody humongous baby!!

He is a fabulous hack, very good in traffic and open spaces, he would be the perfect horse to chuck the non-horsey husband on and put him at the back to follow like a little puppy and learn to ride on to then go out hunting/competing at the weekend with the wife/daughter

He is never hot, silly, or naughty, he has a wonderful comfortable canter that you can sit for days, he is so good out on a hack, he can have a little look at things like you would expect any 4yo to do but he is never sharp, nasty or in genuine, he doesn't bronc, buck, run off, rear, nothing nothing at all

I can lead two horses off of him, one on each side and he is happy in front and behind and always in a snaffle, he is a great, calm influence for the younger less experienced ones (yes even tho he is a baby himself!!)

He would look stunning in the hunting field as a master horse and I am confident he will have a good jump too, he is aware of his feet even tho they are the size of a dish plate

We all adore him, he is a very uncomplicated, polite boy on the ground and I trust him not to stand on my little 3yo girl when she wonders around (and underneath) him 🙈

He will soon be advertised sadly but get in touch if he tickles your fancy 😉

He has been ridden by absolutely everyone and anyone of all shape, size and experience and I am yet to find someone that hasn't completely fallen in love with him

Anyone looking for a quality little filly to grow with and produce into a lovely competition horse?

This stunning little girl is incredibly correct, straight and moves beautifully, she has a gorgeous head with big, expressive, intelligent eyes

Buckskin filly to make around 15hh

From the recently passed full Connemara stallion Glanna Mor (see pictures below), descendant of the popular Templebready Fear Bui that needs no introduction.

From my personal experience all the breakers and youngsters with this/similar bloodlines I had the pleasure to produce have proven incredibly trainable, safe and talented horses

The dam is a registered Connemara cross Warmblood (My Pooka) so this little girl will have a fair bit of athleticism to match with the sturdy and trainable Connemara's nature

A very exciting youngster that should succeed in any sphere having already proven to have a brilliant conformation, good looks, amazing colour and correct paces

Also a potential addition for someone wanting to add some blood, size and good colour to a Connemara breeding program

Open to viewings and possibility of payments plan to discuss with the breeder after putting down a deposit to secure until weaning

She has been incredibly looked after, like all others foals from the breeder, not just a backyard breeder that throws an unregistered stallion in with a bunch of mares. A lot of thoughts have been put to match the mares with the right stallions and they are all chosen for their versatility, good conformation and most than anything their kind, trainable nature to guarantee some future genuine and talented youngsters

The lovely S'mores is really ticking all the boxes!!

He is a great hack, awesome in traffic, fun, forward enough, soft mouth, very willing with an increadibly cute trot, lots of suspension in those cobby feet

He will be a very active pretty picture in a dressage arena

He is a super cob in the making 🥰

Once he puts a bit more weight and condition on he will be beautiful, and I am sure he will turn so golden once his coat starts gleaming

15hh 4yo PALOMINO cob

💃🏼Samba💃🏼

Who remembers this beautiful girl from last year?

She didn't get the chance to be advertised back then and got snapped up

If you missed out then and are still looking, here's the second chance to own a seriously quality mare

Samba is back available due to no faults of her own, unfortunately the owner has found it difficult timewise to manage two horses, especially over the winter with a full time job

Samba is a drop dead gorgeous, 14.3hh GOLDEN (the photos below are not retouched, that's her natural colour) dun Connemara mare, will make around 15hh

Fully registered and with fantastic breeding, she oozes quality and presence, she has big horse paces, with a deep body and a lovely length of rein

She loves her jumping and has been cross country schooling last year with me and popped around few courses and clear rounds. Her current owner has been concentrating more on the flat work over the winter as dressage is the owner's choice of discipline, so Samba's jumping is still green but she is increadibly brave and genuine and really enjoys it, she doesn't stop nor run out and she has a big jump, she will just need to get back into it

She was second last weekend at her first outing of the year at a combined training where she behaved beautifully with a dressage score in high 60%

She is a steady type that needs a leg on with a very soft mouth rather than something that will pull you around, she gets more forward the fitter she is but never strong nor rude, she still has lot of growing and maturing to do being a big framed mare, so I would like her to go somewhere that can appreciate that and give her time to develop without being rushed and pushed, she will be a very impressive mare with more fitness and straightening under her belt

She is a big, naturally powerful mare, she loves to have a job and be out and about doing stuff, she doesn't buck, bronc, runs off but she can has been occasionally a mare when she was brough back into work after her winter holiday, it was never anything naughty to unseat the rider, so she won't suit a complete novice, when in full work she would suit more novice people too

She would be a wonderful show/dressage/WH prospect for someone

Two of the five gorgeous baby cobs 🥰

S'mores 🍪 has just arrived from Ireland and proving very sweet and friendly, he is a very cute and correct 15hh 4yo palomino Cob, walks, trots, canters well and has popped a jump

He was very warmly welcomed by the fabulous Walter 15.2hh 4yo Clydesdale cross

Both green due the their age but riding away under saddle well and very genuine ☺️

15/05/2025

Walter 😎

He is not just a cute dude with an awesome mustache but also a VERY good boy 🥰 he has already learnt to ride and lead (both being led or being the leading horse) and happily marches ahead leading the hack all the way, he opens and closes gates and is great in traffic, he has met tractors, trailers, vans, lorries, bicycles, motorbikes and buses so far as well as some cheeky cows peeping through the hedge, and a bunch of sheep, nothing faces him the only things that seems to be concerning for now are the odd patch of sun on the ground or upside down docks leaf 😂 he is such a cutie and very brave for a green 4yo, soon to start schooling and jumping watch this space

P.s. Sorry about the chit chatting and shouting at my grumpy old mare that was trying to bite poor little Walter everytime we were attempting to turn left 😂😂
