The infographics show a range of signs and symptoms that are often associated with kidney and urinary issues. Please note that failure or straining to pass urine is a medical emergency, requiring urgent treatment! 🚨🚨

Some of these symptoms can also be associated with a number of illnesses, but it's always best to get your pet checked. Take advantage of our free urine testing this month!

April is renal month!! This means all things kidney and bladder-related.

As with previous months, we'll be talking about the function of the renal system, common conditions, diagnostics and treatment options.

We are offering a free basic urine screen (dipstick and urine specific gravity) to those who may be worried about their pet's kidneys. PLUS an additional 10% off of consultations and blood testing, should any abnormalities be found!

Last night, at 8:14pm, a stray dog was found. By 8:23pm the lost pooch was at our practice, microchip scanned and details tracked down. Just 12 minutes later, the family were reunited 🥰

Grass seed season has officially started! 🌾 Last week we removed a grass seed that had been causing trouble for a few months, and on Saturday evening we had Tsuki coming to see us as an emergency, as she had managed to get a fresh grass seed in her ear that afternoon. After removing the grass seed Tsuki made a speedy recovery and is ready to cause trouble!

⭐️ We're hiring!! ⭐️

We've been open for 6-months and the time has come for an additional Veterinary Surgeon to join our little team, as Catmose Vets continues to grow!

You'll be joining a kind, compassionate and highly-trained team consisting of another Vet (one of our practice owners), a PM, 3 RVN's, 2 VCA's and 2 CCA's on a full-time basis, in a family-run independent practice, where we care about our staff as much as our patients and clients.

We see a varied small-animal caseload, including referrals in soft-tissue and orthopaedics, and have an extensive (and ever-growing) array of surgical and diagnostic equipment on-hand for whenever needed. We work hard, we're passionate, we're professional, and we have fun, with no two days being the same.
