Veterinary Nurse Awareness Month 💚🐾👩‍⚕️

A huge thank you to our amazing nursing team — Jane, Carly, Ella, Cameron, Holly, and our newest member Maisy (still camera shy so no photo yet 📸😂).

Veterinary nurses do SO much more than people realise. Day to day we:
🐾 Monitor anaesthetics
🐾 Care for hospitalised patients
🐾 Run lab samples and tests
🐾 Assist in surgery
🐾 Hold your pets for procedures and cuddles
🐾 Give medications and treatments
🐾 Support worried owners
🐾 Clean, stock and prep the practice
🐾 Keep vets organised and sane (mostly 👀)

And of course… deal with a LOT of poo, wee and blood on a daily basis 💩🩸😂

Thank you to all veterinary nurses for the care, compassion and hard work you give every single day — the profession wouldn’t run without you 💚

Throwback Thursday !! The day we started laparoscopic (keyhole) spays in our branch back in February this year. This has now become our clients first choice when having their dog spayed. Each week we carry out keyhole spays. Watch out for stories on the four patients coming to us for their keyhole spay next week

He came in for his castration today… and based on that face, we may not be forgiven anytime soon.

A day in the life of Orla 🐾✨

Today Orla came in for her laparoscopic spay (“lap spay”) and was an absolute superstar from start to finish 💙

Phone Divert issues

Usually on a saturday if you call us; the phone is diverted to the closest regions branch that is open- today this is Bedworth Heath road and Hinckley Roston drive. Currently our phones are stuck in divert to the Coventry branch. The team there will be able to book your appointment if you need to be seen so please call as usual and they can book you to be seen at your local branch. We are hoping this IT phone glitch will be sorted very soon ☎️📞

Important update to our services. SATURDAY OPENING

As a valued client of Medivet Bermuda Park, we want to provide you with an important update about our Saturday availability.

We will be operating a Saturday rotation service between Medivet Bedworth Heath, Medivet Binley, and Medivet Bermuda Park for our clients starting the 2nd May.

Clients may book Saturday appointments as follows:
2nd May at Medivet Bedworth Heath
9th May at Medivet Binley
16th May at Medivet Bermuda Park

These three clinics will continue to rotate their Saturday appointments as above from this date. If you need any help with booking a Saturday appointment, please call your registered clinic and the team will be happy to help.

The out of hours provider for Medivet Bermuda Park is Medivet 24 Hour Leamington. You can call them on 01926 423161 for emergency situations outside of our opening hours.
