Two of our lovely ladies enjoying our new pet dryer 💕

This dryer is amazing, as seen on Masons' Cavies thank you Sophie for such an excellent idea 💓

It has already made such a difference for some of our more nervous guinea pigs who find a traditional hair dryer stressful, especially the noise. With this dryer they can simply relax and chill while enjoying a gentle warm breeze and low-noise environment, it also allows me more time to care for the other piggies while they are drying, saving so much time.

Some of our guinea pigs do need regular baths and extra care.
New arrivals sometimes come from dirty living conditions and may arrive covered in urine and faeces, or require treatment shampoos for mites and lice. Some of our elderly residents also need a little extra help with hygiene cleaning or skin conditions that require ongoing care.

We were able to purchase this pet dryer thanks to the support from our Spring Fundraiser, and it has been a fantastic addition to our wellbeing shed.

Thank you to everyone who came and supported us at our Piggies & Prickles Spring Fundraiser 💕

We raised an amazing £365.92 🎉 for our rescue guinea pigs.

We raised £122 on our own stall
Plus our share of the raffles, tombola, games and kitchen sales came to £243.92

Thank you, we are overwhelmed by all your kindness and support 💕

Amy Winehouse fans 🎶

We have been very kindly donated this amazing hand crafted Amy Winehouse doll by the very talented Micky Doll ❤️ to raise funds for the rescue guinea pigs.

We haven't decided quite how we are going to do this, and if there's enough Amy Winehouse fans on our page to do a raffle or auction here.

Meet our oldest guinea pigs at the rescue 💕 our handsome boy Clyde is now 8 years old and beautiful Pepper is 7 years old.

We love treating our older piggies to a few extra treats and supplements to help support them in their later years for their joints and skin as we do ourselves.

Some piggies arrive with us as senior piggies, and because they need that little bit of extra care and attention, they stay with us where they can enjoy lots of love and comfort.

We've added some special items to our Amazon wishlist just for our older ladies and gentlemen.

Beautiful Lizzy arrived at the rescue today, she's been feeling a bit sad because her sister passed away. We'll give her lots of love and find her a new best friend 🥰

We've had an amazing day today at our Piggies and Prickles Spring Fundraiser.
Thank you so much to everyone who came along and supported us, some of you travelled quite away too, we really appreciated it and to everyone who donated prizes and gifts to help us raise funds.
