A Groom for Moon ✂️

Another regular groom for the lovely Miss. Moon. Nails trimmed, body checked and coat refreshed. She's pictured here looking for her post-groom treat, which should be promptly supplied after her post-groom thump 😂

A Groom for Blue ✂️

Blue was in the thick of losing their winter coat and it was coming off in small clumps. As he's approaching 6 years old it was the perfect time to get him a helping hand with grooming 😁

A Groom for Blippi ✂️

Blippi is just an adorablely round bun, let's be honest! Despite looking like a baby, she is actually coming up 6 and not far from her golden years. She loved this little pamper and sat happily whilst being picked at and brushed. She wasn't quite so keen on the manicure, as with lots of rabbits she didn't't enjoy the sound. Blippi was calm on her feet but slightly unsure of being held, so the trickiest part was the 20ft trip from pop-up grooming salon to home 🏡

A Groom for Peanut ✂️

I had my wits about me with Peanut and she had bitten me last visit - after I caught her by surprise inside a tunnel so fair game at that point! She's photographed here post-groom and grumpy, despite the offering of treats! She even made a couple of escape attempts during, but we trimmed all nails and thinned out her coat quite peacefully in between those 😊

A picture worth a thousand words 😅Homie is timid soil who simply accepts his fate when groom time rolls around. Thankfully this makes it a quick process, and with him being at home already, stress is limited and he can get back to lying around and munching on hay ASAP 😌

A Groom for Paddy ✂️

Paddy has hair a bit like mine - frizzy, full and very prone to tangling 🙈 He had a tennis-ball-sized clump of matted fur on and around his tail, and another about half the size on his sternum. I spent about 90 minutes, working delicately with fingers, combs and scissors, to make him feel more comfortable. I'll be returning to finish off and then to provide some regular maintenance going forwards! A true reminder of the importance of regular grooming for your, especially long-haired, buns 🪮

A Groom for May ✂️

Lovely Lionhead X, May, wasn't too impressed with me - just in case you can't tell from her face! As a larger bun she was having trouble keeping her bum tidy and had a build up of fur and poo. I was able to remove all of this and leave her a clear canvas to hopefully maintain, along with some top tips for her pawrents to prevent future build up 💩

A Groom for Moon ✂️

I forgot to take any progress picture during my monthly visit to Moon but, like every other rabbit that day, she was in full moult. Lots of brushing later and she was very much ready for her post groom pellets 🥕

A Groom for Nora ✂️

This little lady was simply in need of a nail trim. In true Nethie style however, Nora wanted no part of this. My rabbit wrangling skills came in handy on this one (it's actually harder when they're this small!) and her nails were trimmed in a flash 😅

A Groom for Benj ✂️

This was my first visit to Benj and he was right in the middle of a moult! His soft undercoat just kept on falling out and as a lone bun this saved him lots of time and reduced the risk of ingesting large quantities of fur. Thankfully he actually enjoyed being brushed and sat like a little loaf whilst chattering his teeth 🥰

A Groom for Eira ✂️

Another* groom for Eira. This sassy little lady is always nosing around for an escape route! It's very common, as prey animals, for rabbits to not enjoy being picked up and/or handled, however being able to check them over, groom them and administer medication is super helpful. Thankfully Eira has been exposed to these things since she was a kitten, but if you've got a grumpy bun on your hands then I'm here to help 😁
