I'm concerned the cat is looking more like an 'Adolf' every day 😳

When Morty arrived to us he had the name Hartley, as he had a heart-shaped marking on his nose. As he has aged, the marking is looking less like a heart and more like a moustache.

Which would be fine, except for where it is... 😕

Now Jase has pointed it out, I can't unsee it! My poor cat 😆

Its amazing how quickly we're seeing changes in Incas way of going with hoof boots, physios and daily exercise 😍

Her muscle tone is significantly improving, and her gait is much more natural now, and its a weeks difference between these 2 videos ❤️

Incas well overdue introduction 🐴

Inca had a visit from Charlotte at Hoof Boots NE this morning for some boots for her back feet, and I would happily recommend the service!

A couple of weeks ago, Inca went dog lame on her back feet! She's very uncomfortable on even smooth concrete, and only soft grass gives her any relief.

As Inca has EMS she has already been checked by the vet to make sure it was nothing sinister like laminitis. The vet confirmed she has bruised soles on her back feet, and the treatment is similar to us after wearing uncomfortable shoes, rest and it will heal.

However, Inca needs some work to keep the weight off and manage her EMS, and there isn't enough hoof wall on her back feet to nail shoes to, so it was a tricky situation all round 🤔

Charlotte attended this morning and tried various hoof boots on Inca. She explained the benefits of each type, what would work best for Incas situation, how pads work and the best types to use for comfort, and we even got a discount code (i say we, her mum is buying them, but I do love a bargain!) 😆

Can't recommend Charlotte enough and should any of my luni-toons need boots, I'll be bugging Charlotte first (sorry in advance!)

Yesterday I had the pleasure of working with Sophie the gentle giant again ❤️

Although Sophie has just turned 4 and is standing at atleast 17.2hh 😳 she takes everything in her stride and her only worry is accidentally hurting someone.

We worked on lieing over her for the first time, and helping her understand to put her head down for her UV mask as her mum is the same height as me 🦒 a life skills I feel Sophie will get a lot of use out of 😉

I can't reach to hold her saddle from the ground, and even with a big mounting block, I had to jump to lie across her.

I love my sessions with Sophie and cant wait to see the brilliant ridden horse she'll turn into. Her Mum qnd Aunt are police horses so literally big shoes to fill 😆
