What a lovely way to finish off 2025! Over 40 of us enjoyed a fantastic evening altogether at Pizza Hut. Lots of excitable chatter, smiling faces and so much pizza, ice cream and much more. A big thank you to all the staff at the restaurant who looked after us very well.
The Leaders would like to wish all our girls and their families a very Happy Christmas and we look forward to seeing you all again in the New Year.

All sections were very busy again this week with their badgework. Our youngest members were thinking about how they could help out at home. They did some dusting and vacuuming around the church and really enjoyed it. Lots of games and crafts in all sections with the oldest members doing a favourite activity - making pizzas!

Firstly, a big thank you to our girls who represented our company with members of the BB at The Remembrance day parade in the town centre at the weekend. We were all very proud of you.
On to this week and we welcomed some very special visitors. Adam and Nicole our local Community Police Officers came along to talk to all the girls. We tried on the uniforms, looked at the car and asked lots of questions. Many thanks to them both, it was very enjoyable and informative.
Then we still had time to play some games and even make some flapjacks!

This week the N:Spire girls planned and led the session with the N:Vestigate girls which was based on flags from other countries. The N:Counta girls were getting creative which included making cards. The N:Gage girls continued thinking about the importance of sharing and produced a lovely display. Enjoy your half term everyone and we’ll see you soon.

Firstly, we need to say a massive well done to our Bronze D of E group who successfully completed their expedition at the weekend. We are all very proud of you. They learned many new skills through this activity. This week they continued to use their many talents and skills to help plan an evening for the younger girls next week.
The N:Counta group enjoyed lots of activities including hungry hippos and blanket volley ball. They missed all their friends who were on a school residential.
The N:Gage group were exploring how to share. One of the games was an energetic snowball sharing game.
Our youngest members took a stroll around Kingsthorpe and looked for influences from other countries.
Another very busy night with our Girls Brigade friends.

We all met together this week and enjoyed a game of ten pin bowling.

Lots to celebrate this week. Two of our leaders were presented with long service awards by our Chaplains Dave and Sheila. We all got together for a very noisy parachute session before their presentations and then of course there was cake!
The fun continued in all sections. The N:Vestigate girls learnt to speak words and write their name in other languages. There were new games to learn in the N:Gage section and hungry hippos games enjoyed by the N:Counta girls.

It’s been another busy week for our members. The D of E group did some more map reading practise at the weekend and met a friendly horse who seemed to want to join the group. Back at church they put up their tents and checked over the camping stoves. The photos show all sections continuing with badge work with a variety of activities from the last 2 weeks with the usual mix of lots of fun and games too.
