Last week was scorching with temperatures between 26 and 34degrees! ☀️🫠
But that didn’t stop us doing pond cleans, new Oase filtration, pump, lighting and fountain installations, pond maintenance, pond planting, blanketweed treatments and to top it off some lake and stream management!!

This is the best thing we’ve done in our garden! Bringing more birds to bathe and drink, damselflies and frogs too.
The relaxing babble of the water through the pebbles and boulders makes me sit and watch it for hours.
Woodland plants with fallen logs at the base of the laurel scattered into the stream giving frog hideouts and little bird baths.
A few more plants to fill out the feature and rear side of stream but starting to look lovely.

What a beautiful addition to this garden, bringing moving water and a sense of elegance to this small pond recently refurbished.
The client purchased a new pond shell for us to install with my introduction of a small spillway bowl on pedestal as the feature to be set into the rockery landscape. New and weathered Cotswold stone edging complemented by pebbles and cobbles to tie in with the surroundings.

New pond!! 🐸 We loved doing this one.
Using new products came with new challenges to create this lovely wildlife pond with loggery to the rear, planted up with ferns and shade tolerant plants surrounding the pond.

Looking forward to seeing this pond mature and bring even more wildlife to the garden.

Revisiting some ponds built last year, glad to see all is well and they’ve settled in to the surroundings, a quick tidy of the plants and leaf fall removed ready for spring.

A fun jammed packed few days all things aquatic last week, kicked off with and for a pond build day, loads of uv bulb changes and pond maintenances, fresh new signage on the van from , pond cleaning, filter installations,pond lighting and aquarium deep cleans.

Spring is definitely in the air with pond life getting busy!

Old waterfall out, new natural feature in!!

We dismantled the old waterfall and used Cambrian boulders to create a natural looking waterfall next to this sunny patio in 2025.
Waterfall materials from and stones from .warehouse. Super quick delivery as always from both.

What a satisfying pond tidy! This was a pleasure to do!!

This lovely wildlife pond had been untouched for years with overgrown lilies and bullrush throughout. Tonnes of root matter, plant and sludge waste removed.
Aquatic grasses thinned and cut back for winter leaving the striking Equisetum stems.
Smartened up the sides ready for some winter rainfall to fill up. Extra water hawthorn planted up to fill the open water gaps, plenty of wildlife in this pond including water scorpions, dragon fly larvae, toads and even a couple of goldfish.
