Tilly's Pet Supplies Tilly's is a family-run pet shop, specialising in a wide range of quality and natural products for dogs, cats and small animals.

At Tilly's, we hope to provide you with the best possible products to keep your furry-friends healthy and happy. Jayne, Owner and Founder of Tilly's started the shop with the vision of providing other pet-lovers with a trusted place to discover the best quality products for their furry friends. Having owned various pets throughout her life so far including 7 dogs, 3 cats, 2 guinea pigs, 1 rabbit a

nd 2 horses. Animals have always been a big part of Jayne's life; when she was first born, her family dog ran up to see her and was one of the first people to welcome Jayne to the world - even beating her father to it. The shop is named after Jayne's late Springer Spaniel Tilly, who lived a happy and long life. As the inspiration for the shop, Tilly represents all those pampered pets who deserve only the finest things in life.

Don’t forget Nether Heyford Fun Dog Show . Will be held on Nether Heyford Green . Registration at 1.30 and show begins at 2.00 . Tilly’s have supplied goodie bags for 1st, 2nd and 3rd . Weather hopefully will hold off for fete .

Keeping Leucillin happy!

Did you know Leucillin can be used as a sunscreen and UV protector .

The purple bottle is not just an awesome colour, it is there to offer UV protection for the solution. Always keep your Leucillin in its original packaging and out of direct sunlight. As long as the solution is clear and it smells of swimming pool then it is active.

Excessive heat will denature the active ingredient so watch out for leaving a bottle in a car on a hot summers day or next to a heat lamp. Cool and dark is ideal but remember to smell the solution if you are not sure. Swimming pool = still active.

Update Parish Council sewage discharge .

Sounds like discharge treated . Please remember this still could be harmful to your pets .

Until we hear more via PC from environment agency . Keep dogs away from water .

Humans take medications etc and even though treated . We do not know what is present in the sewage

Sewage Spillage UpdateParish Council )

Anglian Water have responded and provided assurance that the discharge they carried out into the River Nene is ‘treated’ water. They are regulated & the number of discharge’s are monitored by the Environmental Agency . This Agency will provide further information.

An enquiry to the EA via our Local Council WNC has been made for a full disclosure as to the impact etc of the discharges. Anglia Water cautioned the use of websites for info. , especially where the wording includes ‘sewage’. Further update to follow on response from EA

Weedon Dog Owners

Be mindful when letting dogs into water . This could be harmful. Can lead to upset tummies.

I would keep dogs away fro river for a few days . Please be aware travelling up stream to flore .

Please be aware that there has been Sewage discharge by Anglian Water today 2/6 & yesterday 1/6 which will impact the river near the allotment/pocket park. Anglian Water has been contacted for more info/advice & response expected by management within 48 hours

Nether Heyford fete on Saturday afternoon. They are holding a Dog Show. Need the times , registration 1.30 and show begins at 2pm. Tilly’s are providing goodie bags for 1st 2nd and 3rd . Should be a funday out for all .
