During the lovely sunny weather we have been having lately please remember to keep your pets cool as heat stroke can quickly become fatal. Remember to walk during cool times of the day and check pavement temperatures to avoid burnt paws. Always make sure plenty of fresh water is available and avoid leaving pets outside or in cars. Make sure rabbits and guinea pigs housed outside have access to shelter and fans if needed. We understand it can be difficult to find time for vet appointments during normal working hours and that sometimes injuries and illnesses can only become apparent after normal closing hours. For our clients who use our prescription HPM Food we hope you will be delighted to know the packaging of the 400g, 1.5kg and 3kg is now fully recyclable with the rest of the sizes following soon :)

Do you know where to take your pet in an emergency? Accidents and emergencies often happen outside of normal working hours. Often this means taking your pet to another unfamiliar practice who don't have access to their records. It also means that if pets require hospitalisation they often need to travel between normal and out of hours practices each day and night. We are proud to be able to offer our clients 24/7 care within our practice meaning full access to our equipment, staff and facilities whatever the time of day and night. It also means patients needing to stay overnight don't have to travel elsewhere and can remain settled in our comfy hospital wards with regular visits from owners!

NURSE CLINICS - DID YOU KNOW WE OFFER FREE OF CHARGE NURSE CLINICS ?? Our qualified nurses are highly skilled and happy to help and advise on a huge variety of concerns and offer free of charge healthchecks, senior pet checks, puppy and kitten checks, new pet checks, behaviour clinics, weight management clinics, socialisation/confidence building clinics and much much more! They are also able to perform procedures such as claw clipping and a**l gland emptying for a small charge. We are an independent family run practice located in North Walsham, Norfolk. Our surgery was purpose built to ensure we can provide the highest standard of care for pets and exotic animals since opening in 2014. We are proud to have been accredited Gold standard Rabbit and Feline friendly and provide our own 24/7 on site emergency service for clients to ensure you always have access to a familiar face with your pets records at hand during these stressful times. Our extensive facilities include separate cat, dog and exotic pet waiting areas and hospital wards, a laser therapy unit, onsite CT scanner, digital xray, ultrasound, blood pressure, ECG and tonometry, an in house laboratory, dedicated operating theatres, a luxury pet hotel and memory garden. Our Very Important Pet Clubs also offer the chance to save money and budget for routine pet care including vaccinations and flea and worming treatment as well as receiving additional discounts on other products and services. We believe in offering the best level of care possible and offer free of charge clinics with our qualified veterinary nurses to ensure your pet remains in tip top condition including parasite prevention clinics, socialisation clinics, new pet checks and much more!
