A special post, for a special little dog.💕

At Silver Valley we have a few dogs with very special needs, where other doggy daycare establishments may not be suitable.

Beautiful Bella has suffered with glaucoma and had an eye removed last year. unfortunately her remaining eye was still causing her pain.
Bella is only 7 years old, and with much life in front of her, the very difficult decision to remove her remaining eye was taken.

Bella is now happy to be pain free, and with the support of her amazing family she is learning to navigate her way around her home.

She is building confidence daily, mastering the stairs and having little walks outside of her home.

It's very important for me to keep contact with Bella, and I've been to visit her twice.

The next step is to re introduce her to Silver Valley on my days off. Together with her family here, we can build her confidence and assess her progress.

It may be quite some time before she can join her friends here again, if ever.. but we're working towards it, and keeping her life as normal as possible.

Bella would love to see her Tuesday friends, and will be at our VIP families day, so if you see her, please approach gently, but please approach!

I'm sure a little sniff from her friends will go a long way to help with her mental stimulation and recovery.

Please all join me in sending little Bella all our love and cuddles, and sending enormous support for her family, who found themselves with a very difficult decision to make, and are now navigating uncharted waters.
