It is that time of year again where long summer walks and lush grass field have hidden hazards of those pesky little grass seeds.

Grass seed are sharp and sneaky and they can burrow into your pets skin, ears, eyes, throat and even their paws!🐾 If left untreated these can cause all sorts of nasties🤢

🔍What to look out for:🔍

🌱Excessive chewing or licking (especially between the toes)
🌱Sudden lameness or limping
🌱Head shaking, ear scratching or sensitivity to touch
🌱Swellings, discharge or visible grass seeds
🌱Redness or weeping in and around eyes
🌱Coughing, gagging and retching

If your pet is experiencing any of these symptoms, it is always better to get your pet checked by one of our vets! 👩‍🔬

👣With every step, we ran and walked for those who have lost, those still fighting with and those who have fought and won to such a horrible disease🥊

🎆With thanks to the amazing generosity from clients, friends, family and the team we raised a total of £845 between us all whish is all going to help fund towards life-saving cancer research🎆

Talking pesky parasites in cats 🪱 🐈

Cats can get roundworm and tapeworm by accidentally eating their eggs, and it’s important to take preventative treatment by giving them a regular wormer.

Symptoms of worms include:

🐈 Weight loss
🐈 Eating more
🐈 Diarrhoea
🐈 Tapeworm segments (which look like grains of rice) in your cat’s poo
