Mojo’s Story
Mojo came into my care when a lovely woman could no longer meet her needs due to long work hours. Every shelter was full, and the waiting lists were endless. So I offered to foster her—just as a stepping stone. But as time passed, she settled in like she’d always belonged.

She’s the youngest of the feline crew in my home, but you wouldn’t know it from her attitude. I’ve had her since she was six months old—she’s now two, full of sass, and follows me everywhere like a shadow with opinions. She’s absolutely convinced she’s the queen of the house… she’s not. (But don’t tell her I said that.) Oh and she loves sitting in my plant pots 💜

A Little About Me… Emma Dee
I think when you’re trusting someone with your animals, it’s nice to know the heart behind the business. So I wanted to share a little more about who I am and why I do what I do.

Every day this week, I’ll be posting one story—just a small moment from my journey with animals that’s shaped the way I care. Some are sweet, some are scruffy, some might make you smile (or cry a little), but all of them are real.

Because this isn’t just a job to me. It’s a calling. And I believe the way we care for animals says a lot about who we are.

So here’s to the little ones who’ve climbed up my arm, curled into my hood, or thumped their feet when the kettle boiled. They’ve all left paw prints on my heart—and I’d love to share them with you.

🌸 Blossom & Pansy: A Bond Forged in Healing 🌸

Meet Blossom and Pansy—two little loves with the softest ears and the strongest bond.

Blossom came to us as a rescued lop, she was gentle and curious, already carrying the quiet wisdom of survival. Then came Pansy, a brave English Dutch found under a dumpster, weighing just 1kg and nearly hairless. A kind-hearted group of pharmacy ladies spotted him and scooped him up, and thanks to Josh’s quick thinking, Pansy found his way into my care.

With warmth, nourishment, and time in isolation, Pansy’s fur began to grow back—along with his trust in the world. Once he was strong enough, we gently introduced him to Blossom. It was as if they’d been waiting for each other all along.

Now, they do everything together—eating, exploring, snuggling. Their bond is a daily reminder of what love, patience, and a second chance can do.

They’re not just rabbits. They’re a story of resilience, of friendship, and of the quiet magic that happens when you believe in healing. I'm so blessed.
