Despite having 6 chicks which she absolutely adores she still takes a moment to look after herself 🫶

Dust bathing is important to maintain healthy skin, feathers and manage external parasites. It can also be a social activity 🖤

So while she looks like she may be ignoring her babies she is in fact teaching them a valuable life skill 💪

A genetic throwback from one of my old Wheaten Hens 🧐 He was too handsome to cull but I don’t have a use for him currently.
