Starting my Saturday off with a half marathon training run 🤩 Thank you so much to all my clients for being understanding and flexible this week with the heat! Its so lovely to see how many people genuinely care about their dogs wellbeing and allowed me to move walks to as early as possible 🐕

Two very early morning short walks today in the shade followed by some pop ins 🐕 This weather especially after mid morning is just way too hot to be out walking your dogs.

It won’t kill your dog to miss a walk but walking your dog in this heat…. Enough said 😑

Heatwave next week! ☀️

Temperatures are forecast to reach around 23°C by midday which is considered the limit to avoid heat stroke. We’re expecting highs of 30°c next week.

To my clients… I will be doing my best to adjust walk timings to accommodate everyone with earlier slots where possible, including early morning and mid-morning walks, to ensure all dogs are exercised safely before the hottest part of the day.

I will message suggested walk times individually, and I’d appreciate it if you could let me know whether you are happy with the proposed timings.🐕 I will also be offering pip in visits as an alternative to anyone who needs their dog to be seen to midday and happy to take cancellations from anyone who will be home and doesn’t need their usual walk next week.

At the end of the day your dogs safety and wellbeing always comes first! 🫶🏽
