We would like to extend a sincere thank you to all of our customers for your understanding and flexibility during this week’s heat wave ☀️🐶

In order to keep all dogs safe, comfortable, and out of the hottest temperatures, we had to make changes to some appointments and rebook where necessary throughout the week. Your patience and cooperation were greatly appreciated and allowed us to prioritise the wellbeing of every dog in our care.

We would also like to thank our dedicated team for their hard work and professionalism throughout a very challenging week, as well as our students who continued to attend college despite us having minimal to no dogs in at times. Their commitment, positive attitude, and determination to continue with lessons and exams throughout the disruption was greatly appreciated and did not go unnoticed.

Thank you once again to everyone for your continued support, patience, and understanding throughout the week.

Due to the heat in the parlour tomorrow, we have made the difficult decision to close for the day to ensure the safety and comfort the dogs, students and staff.

☀️ Due to the warm weather today, our K9 Grooming Parlour will be closed to customer appointments.

We only have our exam dogs in today, as we’ve reduced the number of dogs and people in the parlour to help prevent our air conditioning units from overworking in the heat and to keep everyone comfortable and safe. 🐶❄️

Thank you for your understanding and patience — we’ll be back to normal appointments as soon as possible!☀️

☀️🐶 With the heatwave here, it’s extra important to keep our furry friends cool and comfortable!

Here are a few simple ways to help your dog stay safe in the heat:
💧 Keep fresh water available at all times
🌳 Walk them early morning or later in the evening
🚫 Avoid hot pavements — if it’s too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for their paws
🧊 Use cooling mats, damp towels, or shaded areas to help them chill out
✂️ Regular grooming can help remove excess coat and keep them feeling fresher

At the salon, we’ve got both the fan and air conditioning on to keep all our furry visitors as cool and comfortable as possible during their appointments 🐾❄️

Please never leave dogs in cars, even for a few minutes ❤️
