🦊❤️ Meet this handsome young man, affectionately known as "Little Fox."

He and his mum have been part of my world for many years now, and when you've known people and their pets for that long, you don't just witness their journeys—you become a small part of them.

A lot has changed over the years.

Little Fox lost his dad, and his mum has never quite been the same since. He's lost his sight, he's developed diabetes, and age has gradually caught up with him too. These days he's an older gentleman, taking life at a slightly gentler pace. 🐾

His mum has changed too.

When we first met, she was still a spring chicken, completely independent and always on the go. But as the years have passed, life has had its challenges. Age has caught up, difficult experiences have left their mark, and, like many of us, she's finding that memory isn't quite what it used to be.

And that's okay.

One thing I've learned from doing this job is that support looks different for everyone.

If I'm not needed, I take a respectful step back.

If I am needed, I step forward.

Whatever that support looks like.

Because in our world, it isn't just about the pets. It's about the people too. ❤️

It's about understanding that life doesn't always go to plan. Sometimes people need a little extra help. Sometimes pets do too.

The relationships we build over the years become about far more than transport. They become about trust, kindness, and being there when life gets a little harder than expected.

If we can make things a bit easier for both pets and their owners, then we absolutely will.

That's what we're here for. 🐾❤️

🐾 Meet this handsome young man, who has just enjoyed a little holiday of his own at the kennels! 🐶

One thing people often assume is that all of our customers don't drive, but that's not actually the case.

His mum and dad both drive and both have their own cars. In fact, they could easily take him to the kennels themselves. 🚗

The difference is that they lead incredibly busy lives, and sometimes time is more valuable than money.

Taking the dog to the kennels, driving there and back, and fitting it all around work and other commitments can easily take a big chunk out of an already hectic day. When they know they have a reliable service they can trust, it's one less thing to worry about.

And that's perfectly okay. 😊

We completely understand what it's like to juggle busy careers, family commitments, and endless to-do lists. If you can delegate a task to someone else for a reasonable price and free up some valuable time, why wouldn't you?

Whether it's helping an elderly owner get their pet to the vets, supporting someone with mobility challenges, or simply making life easier for busy working professionals, we're always happy to help. 🐾

Now this handsome chap is back home, no doubt recovering from the excitement of his holiday and getting plenty of fuss from Mum and Dad! ❤️🐶

💔 This little lady broke my heart this week.

Every six weeks, I take her to the groomers. It's one of those regular journeys that becomes part of the routine, and over the years you get to know not just the pets, but their families too.

When I arrived this week, I was saddened to learn that her mum had passed away suddenly.

Poor little poppet has been a bit out of sorts ever since. Not only has she lost her beloved mum, but life at home has changed dramatically. With her dad needing additional support due to early onset dementia, there are now lots of different people coming and going each day.

It's a lot for anyone to process.

What struck me most was how well she behaved at the groomers. Anyone who knows her will appreciate just how unusual that is! Normally she's Trouble with a capital T. ❤️

But pets grieve too.

They may not understand death in the way we do, but they absolutely notice when someone they love is no longer there. They feel changes in routine, changes in emotions, and the absence of the people who have been a constant part of their lives.

Watching her this week was a reminder of just how deeply our pets bond with us.

She was incredibly brave, and we're all hoping that with time, patience and plenty of love, she'll begin to find her feet again.

Thinking of her family during what must be an incredibly difficult time. 🐾

SUPER exciting news!!! 🎉🐾

After what feels like forever, something I've been dreaming about and working towards for a long time is FINALLY happening... 💙

🚀 We are having a brand new website created for our pet products and educational content! 🐶🐱📚

Honestly, I couldn't be more excited! It's going to be small but mighty 💪✨. We're starting with a simple foundation while we continue to secure further funding, but this is such a huge milestone for us.

This website will be a place to:

🐾 Share my knowledge and passion for pet travel and safety
🐾 Bring you all along on this exciting journey
🐾 Build a community of fellow pet lovers
🐾 Showcase our products (once we launch them! 😉🐾)
🐾 Provide a home for potential customers and investors to learn more about what we're creating

And the timing couldn't be better! 🙌

Working with pets has given me a whole new level of respect for pet photographers. Honestly, I don't know how they do it! 😂🐾

People think it's as simple as pointing a camera and going *"snap!"* 📷

But the reality is more like:

👀 "Look this way!"
🐕 "No, not that way!"
🎾 "Look at the toy!"
🐕 "I'd rather sniff this leaf."
📸 "Stay still!"
🐕💨 *Zooms off at 100mph*

Getting the dog to look at you, strike the perfect pose, and stay still long enough to avoid a blurry photo is a genuine skill! 🤣

Not this handsome young man though... 😎🐶

He knows exactly what he's doing.

Honestly, it's like he was born for the catwalk! 🐾✨

(Although now I think about it... where does the expression *catwalk* even come from?! 🤔😂)

Let's call it the **dog walk** instead! 🐕👑

This lad runs into position, strikes a pose, gives his best side, and somehow manages to get the perfect shot first time, every time. 📸❤️

And he's just as impressive when it's time to travel. The moment the boot opens, he's straight in and settled down like a seasoned professional. 🚐🐾

No hesitation.
No fuss.
No drama.

Just pure confidence and style. 😎✨

🐂💥 The expression *"like a bull in a china shop"* must have been invented for these two! 💥🐂

Honestly, these Bullies are absolutely bonkers... in the best possible way! 😂🐶🐶

The only way I can describe them is like a wind-up toy that's been wound up so tightly it's just waiting to be released...

🚀 GO GO GO GO GOOOOOOOOOO!!! 🚀

Everything is exciting!

🌳 Trees? Exciting!
👨 People? Exciting!
🐕 Other dogs? Exciting!
🍂 Leaves blowing in the wind? VERY exciting!
🚐 Getting in the pet taxi? The most exciting thing that's ever happened in the history of the world!

And don't even get me started on the tails... ⚠️🐕💨

Those things were wagging at approximately 100mph! Honestly, they should come with a health and safety warning.

🚨 CAUTION: SWINGING TAIL HAZARD 🚨

I've transported a lot of dogs over the years, but I genuinely don't think I've ever met a pair with quite this much enthusiasm for life. 😂❤️

They've had an amazing time at their dog boarders while Mum was on holiday, but now it's time for the main event...

🎉 MUM'S HOME!!! 🎉

Their plan for the rest of the day:

👅 Give Mum some licks.
🧸 Play with toys.
👅 Give Mum some more licks.
🚶 Go for a walk.
👅 Give Mum EVEN MORE licks.
🎾 Play some more.
👅 More licks.
💦 Quick drink of water.
👅 Finish off with extra slobbery, drippy, watery licks.

Because apparently there is no problem in life that can't be solved with excessive licking. 🤣🤣🤣

I absolutely adore these two chaos merchants. They may only have two speeds...

🐾❤️ Meet this handsome fella! ❤️🐾

For more than 6 years, we've been taking him to the vets every single month for his allergy injections. And, in true Boxer fashion, he's allergic to just about everything! 🤦‍♀️🐶🌿

Unfortunately, we've now reached the point where the injections aren't having the desired effect anymore. Not only are they becoming less effective, but they're also causing side effects that his lovely mum quite rightly has concerns about. 💔

At 9 years old, the decision has been made to explore alternative remedies and focus on his comfort and quality of life rather than continuing with monthly injections. 🐕✨

His mum is a wonderful lady and, as a fellow widow, we've shared many conversations over the years. When you've built such a strong relationship with both owner and pet over such a long period of time, it's never easy to say goodbye to those regular visits. 🤗❤️

But sometimes doing what's right isn't always what's easiest.

I wholeheartedly support her decision, and in fact, I helped her work through the options and come to this conclusion. Because at Pets2Places, the welfare and wellbeing of the pet will always come first. 🐾💚

Yes, from a business perspective, it means one less regular journey for us. But that's never been what this is about.

Our priority has always been helping pets and their owners make the best decisions for them, even when that means less work for us. That's simply the right thing to do. ❤️

And who knows... in time, many of our wonderful clients return with a new furry family member who needs our help. Until then, we'll be cheering this handsome boy on and hoping these new approaches give him the comfort he deserves. 🐶🥰

😴😂 "This seems like a great place to sleep!"

Anyone else's pets insist on sleeping in the most bizarre places imaginable? 🤦‍♀️🐾

Beds? ❌

Pet beds? ❌

Sofas? ❌

A perfectly good pile of freshly washed laundry waiting to be put away? ✅🏆😹

And yes... before anyone asks... that was CLEAN washing! 👕🧺✨

Although let's be honest, who is actually putting the washing away on the same day it's been washed anyway?! 😂🙈

In our house, the laundry usually enjoys a few days of freedom before making its way into a drawer. Apparently this little one decided it looked so comfortable, they'd claim it first! 😴👑🐶🐱

I suppose if you've spent all day supervising the humans, you've earned a luxury bed made from freshly laundered clothes! 🤣💤

🙈 "If I just don't move, they might not see me..." 🙈

This little fella has been to the vets so many times over the last few weeks that he must be completely fed up with the sight of me! 🚕🐱

In fact, he's had that many trips that he's now been fully trained to accept being put into his carrier without any fuss. Although judging by this face, I think he's decided enough is enough! 😹📦

Thankfully, today's visit was his final appointment. After some complications following a dental procedure, he's now been given the all-clear and won't need to go back anytime soon. 🎉🩺✨

I think we can all agree he's earned a well-deserved break from vet visits, carriers, and seeing my face! 😂

Bless him, his little expression says it all. ❤️🐾

Wishing you lots of naps, treats, and absolutely no more vet appointments for a while, little man! 😴🐟🐱
