Yesterday afternoon we welcomed a large group of Pony Club members to Quorn Kennels for their Hunting Certificate theory 🐶🐴
They heard from the Master, Secretary, Whipper-in and Groom about their roles, etiquette, hounds, horses and trail hunting terminology, after enjoying a tour of the kennels and stables. Huge thankyou to everyone who made the afternoon so educational and enjoyable.

British Hound Sports Association Countryside Alliance Hunting The Belvoir Hunt The Cottesmore Hunt

Entries are now open for the Cottesmore Scurry and Foxhunter cross country race rides on Saturday 4 October at Knossington near Oakham on the Rutland/Leicestershire border over prime Cottesmore country.
The Scurry is over approx 3 miles and is a race, whereas the Foxhunter is over 2.5 miles over a slightly easier course that is roughly equivalent to an Intermediate team chase. Overnight stabling is available as we are running our ever popular Knossington fun ride the following day. Entries via horse events
