An emotional goodbye to Luna, Chester and Hugo.

These lucky guys are moving to Spain 🇪🇸, Auntie Claire will miss them very much and there may have been some tears 😢 🤦‍♀️

Next time I’m over we will absolutely be popping in for a visit.

Luna and Chester have become different dogs from their first visit. It’s been a pleasure and a privilege to be a part of their journey ❤️

It’s a spaniel thing 😂

Our Simon keeping cool in the house.

We have closed the salon in the afternoons this week due to the high temps. We do have air con however with this battling against the heat of the dryers I feel it’s just too warm for the dogs to be happy 🐶. Could we stay open? Probably. Should we stay open? Absolutely not. Our priority is always your dogs safety and comfort.

Already nervous dogs can become even more agitated when they are hot and bothered…. A bit like us! 🥵

Thanks to our amazing customers for moving to early appointments, we even had a pyjama drop off this week 😂🤭… normality resumes next week 😮‍💨

Dexter 💙

Dexter was here early doors this morning and this boy is hilarious….

Dexter is NOT happy until his head is dry…. We would usually dry this last but with Dexter it’s first on the list 😂

He loves the dryer on his face 😂 once his luscious locks are dry he’s then quite happy for his body to be dried 😂

It’s so funny finding all our dogs little quirks and likes and dislikes as there are no two dogs the same 😂

Our wonderful dogs always come first.

Their welfare and comfort is always at the forefront of all decisions made within our salon.

This is just an appreciation post for our customers who have moved appointments to super early ones 🤭 to avoid the heat 🥵

Even though we have portable air con and fans in the salon it can still become too warm with the dryers on and in all honesty too hot for the dogs to travel to us.

So a big THANK YOU 🥰 to everyone who has moved and especially to those willing to get out their beds very early on a Sunday morning 😂

A great example of insecurities slipping away. 🥰

Dougie was pretty nervous on his first visit to us. This time he was much more relaxed. 😌

He displays classic body language of eye flicking, and lip licking whilst looking for reassurance.

When that reassurance is given you can visibly see him relax and lie down 👏

Clever boy Dougie. Time, patience and reassurance goes a long way in helping our doggy visitors gain confidence in the salon. 🛀
