Short haired dogs don’t need the groomers? 🤔

This is our Bella, she’s a boxer, in the salon for a deshed.

Not only does this massively help the hair in the house but it has benefits to Bella too.

Dogs such as Labradors, Pugs, Boxers, Frenchies and Beagles can shed an enormous amount. Their dead hair often sits packed within the coat rather than simply falling away.

A proper deshed helps to:

* 🐾 Remove loose/dead coat before it ends up all over the house.
* 🌬️ Improve airflow through the coat, particularly in dense-coated breeds like Labs.
* 🧴 Distribute the skin’s natural oils, helping the coat look glossy and healthy.
* 🩹 Reduce compacted undercoat, which can hold moisture, dirt and dander against the skin.
* 👀 lets you get a good look at the skin and spot lumps, irritation, parasites or other changes.
* ✨ Leave that lovely smooth, sleek finish — you can really tell the difference after a bath, high-velocity dry and thorough deshed.

It’s shedding season everyone!!!! 🫣 🐶

Following on from yesterday’s restraint free floor groom, this is what a restraint free table groom is like here at Country Paws 🐾.

As you can see Aurora moves off at one point but chooses to come back.

This shows she trusts me and is happy for me to continue - she just needed a minute 😂

My favourite bit of grooming is seeing my relationship with each dog develop into a partnership 🥰 ❤️

Today we finally got round to my sisters dog woody 🤭

Her remit to me was short as possible, for easy maintenance. Woody is a face rubber so gets matted easily around his muzzle so we decided to take him super short around his muzzle too 🥰

I actually think his poodle style face is super cute on him what do you think? 🤔

🦷🐾 — EMMI-PET ULTRASONIC TEETH CLEANING! 🐾🦷

We are thinking of introducing Emmi-pet ultrasonic teeth cleaning to Country Paws! 🐾

Emmi-pet uses ultrasound technology to help support your dog’s dental hygiene — with no brushing, scrubbing or vibration, making it a lovely gentle option, particularly for dogs who aren’t keen on traditional tooth brushing. 🐶✨

Regular sessions can help with:

🦷 Reducing plaque build-up
✨ Supporting cleaner teeth
💨 Helping with bad breath
🪥 Supporting healthy gums and ongoing dental hygiene

Each dog would have their own individual brush head, which would be kept specifically for them for future visits.

Sessions could be booked separately or added to your dog’s regular grooming appointment. 🛁🐾

Emmi-pet teeth cleaning is a dental-hygiene service and does not replace veterinary dental treatment.

❗️ ⭐️ Is this a service people would be interested in??? 🤔 ⭐️ ❗️
