First, a massive thank you for your patience! We know it has taken a little longer than usual to get these open.

Our booking system has had an upgrade and because of the upgrade, things look a little different now. Please see the important details below to get your dogs booked in:

💳 Card Details:
When booking online, the new system will request your card details. Please rest assured that no payment will be taken at the time of booking. Your card is simply held securely to protect our schedule. A fee will only ever be charged if our cancellation policies are broken (i.e., giving less than 48 hours' notice to reschedule or a no-show). Everything is fully explained on the booking system before you finalise your appointment!

We always do our absolute best to accommodate everyone where we can. Saturdays and evening appointments are our busiest times.

If you have flexibility and don't strictly need a Saturday or evening slot, please let us know what other days work for you! This helps us save those spots for the clients who can only make those specific times.

I was in two minds of sharing this however I do think it’s important to show the bad as well as the good. As a small business, every dog that comes through our door matters to us, and so does every piece of feedback both positive or negative.

Yesterday, a first-time client shared that they were disappointed with their dog’s groom on the 30th April. While it’s never easy to read criticism, we fully respect every customer’s right to share their experience, and we always take feedback seriously.

What saddened us most was that no concerns were raised with us directly at collection or afterwards, as we would always have welcomed the opportunity to make adjustments and ensure the client left happy. Communication is incredibly important to us, especially when grooming is so personal and every owner has different preferences for style and finish.

As many groomers and dog owners know, first appointments can also take time while both groomer and owner learn what works best for the dog moving forward.

We’re proud of the care, patience and kindness we give every dog, and we stand by the love and effort that goes into our work every single day. Running a small business means being human. We care deeply, we learn constantly, and we will always do our best to put things right whenever given the chance. We’re grateful for the continued support and trust from our amazing clients who see the dedication behind our business.

This post isn’t to bash the owner whatsoever but just to show communication is key 🐾

Meet Bella 🐾✨

Bella came in for her very first puppy introduction session, and she absolutely smashed it! These early visits are so important in setting puppies up for a lifetime of calm, positive grooming experiences.

A puppy intro isn’t about doing a full groom and rushing the process. It’s all about building trust, confidence, and familiarity with the grooming process. During Bella’s session, we gently introduced her to:
• A warm bath and gentle dry
• A full brush and comb through to get her used to the sensation
• Nail trimming (so important to start early!)
• A tidy around the eyes, sanitary area, and little bum trim for hygiene

Each step is done slowly and positively, giving your puppy time to process everything without feeling overwhelmed.

Jumping straight into a full groom at this stage can be too much, too soon. Clippers, scissors, longer handling time, and unfamiliar noises can easily make a puppy anxious or fearful if they’re not properly introduced. That first experience really matters, if it feels stressful, it can lead to long term grooming anxiety, making future visits more difficult for both your dog and the groomer.

By starting with a puppy intro, we’re helping them learn that grooming is a safe, calm, and even enjoyable experience 💛

Bella left feeling relaxed, confident, and ready for her next visit. Exactly what we want!
