Shadow K9 Training

Shadow K9 Training Welcome! Are you looking for a fully qualified and insured dog trainer in Essex? Check out my 5* Google reviews and message me to find out if I can help

I have been animal crazy since I was born and have had a range of animals over the years but the one constant in my life has been dogs. I grew up with Chow Chows and Pyrenean Mountain dogs as family dogs. As a young child I helped train my neighbours Doberman and a family friends Rottweiler and German Shepard (she told me I was 5 when I spent all my time in her garden with both dogs and they learn

t something new after every visit). Later on my parents had an aggressive at everything Shih Tzu which I helped his reactivity and loved the challenge a reactive dog brings and watch them grow. During my 20’s my friend and I helped a charity take dogs from mistreated homes and transported them to their foster home before they were rehomed. These days my parents have a fairly quite in comparison (only dog aggressive to some dogs) Larzarapso and my husband and I have a “Son” (as I don’t do human children), a Doberman who’s 2.5 years. My house, however is always full of all kinds of breeds as 2 of my close friends are dog walkers and 1 is a trainer and the dogs learn to hang out in the same room and not having to interact all the time while we drink coffee - win,win 🤣
Over the years friends and family have told me to qualify as a trainer as they’ve always felt I would be good but life has excuses. My career has always been extremely busy (I travel the country training surgeons and nurses in all things eye surgery and am hardly at home). This year (2023) I’ve decided to allow myself to do something for me and now am qualifying under the "Dog Training College" to put a dream into action!

Spending time with our dogs is a privilege, make the most of it, especially on the days it feels like a chore as one day that chore wont be there💕🐾

What to do on walks when it gets hotter to keep your dog safe. Remember it takes 2 weeks in consistent temperatures for a dog to adapt to their climate so this is important

Why are people still taking dogs out in the heat?
It takes 2 weeks of constant temperatures for a dog to adapt, we never have this in uk. Stop letting dogs suffer & die unnecessarily just to have them with you in the sun!
