At just 10 months old, Border Terrier Ziggy had his very first visit to the groomers 🐾

As he needed handstripping, we decided to split his groom over two sessions so it wasn’t too overwhelming for him. His first visit was for his handstrip, then a week later he returned for his bath and tidy.

Ziggy did brilliantly throughout and took it all in his stride — such a good boy! 🤎

A busy one for the start of the week, with four newbies settling in really well for their first visits. Always nice to meet new faces and get them comfortable with myself and the new surrounds.

Nico the Swiss Mountain Dog 🐾

It was an absolute pleasure to groom this handsome boy. I was kindly asked by my fellow groomer Chelsea if I could step in and take care of one of her clients… all 70kg of him!

Despite his size, Nico is a big softie at heart, but at just 3 years old he’s incredibly strong. So, I called in my husband for a bit of extra muscle to help manoeuvre him safely and comfortably throughout his groom.

Teamwork definitely made the dream work with this one 💪🐶.

✨ Our beautiful and gentle soul, Bertie ✨
At 14 years young, Bertie has been through a lot — including the loss of one of his front legs. As an elder gentleman, we know that asking him to stand for a full groom would be far too much.

So we work around him.
We do everything we can while he’s comfortably lying down, and with the gentle support of his dad, we only ask him to stand when it’s truly necessary.

His groom isn’t about looking perfect — it’s about keeping him comfortable, clean, and cared for. And that’s more than enough. ❤️

Dolly the Frenchie visited Ted’s for a deshed treatment and tried the Shed-It Mud Mask. This spa add-on is ideal for short-haired breeds and really helps lift out the dead coat. Sweet Teddy, the gorgeous Cairn Terrier cross, came in for her very first groom today. As a rescue girl with a difficult start in life, she needed lots of reassurance, patience, and gentle encouragement. We took our time helping her feel safe and settled💛
