As I sat and watch the glorious weather this evening, I realised I hadn't yet fed the algorithm, so I'll drop some pearls of wisdom instead:

Collect rainwater! - Water changes with collected rainwater lower TDS, which in for many tropical fish species is a spawning indicator. Heavy rain often means the end of the dry season and an abundance of insect life, which is vital when producing offspring.

Culture Live Foods! - A simple bucket of collected rainwater left in semi-shade can attract midges to lay eggs, giving you a daily source of black mosquito larvae, which is reputed to contain amino acids vital for egg production in female fish.
