We aim to provide a good quality ‘local’ service to all our customers and offer free delivery on orders over £20 to FY8 and FY4 postcodes. We also offer nationwide shipping on non bulky items like dog treat boxes. If you can’t find what you want we’ll get it for you.

To all our lovely customers and supporters,

Firstly, thank you so much for all the kind messages, support and well wishes over the past few weeks. They truly mean the world to me and my family ❤️

Due to my ongoing health condition and not having staff available to cover extra days, Mav & Annie’s will now only be open on Saturdays whilst we prepare to close.

From now until the end of May — or until everything has sold out — we’ll be holding a Closing Down Sale with huge discounts across the shop and no sensible offer refused.

This includes:
🐾 Pet food & treats
🐾 Harnesses, collars, leads & beds
🐾 Bowls, toys & accessories
🐾 Wildlife products and much more

If you’ve had your eye on something, now is the time to pop in and grab a bargain.

Running Mav & Annie’s has been such a special part of our lives and if my health had allowed it, I would have continued. Thank you all for supporting our little family business and for supporting Maverick & Annie along the way ❤️

Due to unexpected staffing changes alongside our current circumstances, Mav and Annie’s Pet Store will now reopen from Saturday this week.

As many of you know, we will sadly be closing on 30th May due to Teresa’s ill health, and our hours have already been adjusted during this time.

We’re doing everything we can to stay open for our remaining days and will keep you updated here.

It is with very heavy hearts that we’re sharing some difficult news about Mav & Annie’s Pet Store 💔

Due to a sudden change in health, we will sadly be closing our doors at the end of May.

Until then, the shop will be open:

🐾 Saturday: 10:00am – 4:00pm

We’ll also be holding a closing down sale, so please do pop in and see us if you can – we’d love to see as many of you as possible before we say goodbye.

This shop has meant the absolute world to us, and your support over the last couple of years has never gone unnoticed. Thank you for being part of our journey 💛

We’re really sorry for the short notice, but due to unforeseen circumstances we’re unable to open the shop today.

Good Morning all,

This is just a notice to let our customers know the shop will unfortunately be closed today.

Teresa was taken seriously ill yesterday via ambulance, she’s back home now but in recovery.

This weeks hours will change slightly as follows:

Tuesday & Wednesday will be open 12-4:30pm

Thursday, Friday and Saturday will be normal hours.

We appreciate your understanding at this time, and any well wishes to my mum.

🐾 It’s nearly time…! 🐾

The Spring Festival is TOMORROW! 🎉🌸
Being held on the People’s Park, Kirkham

We are in the shop today until 4:30pm, busy getting everything ready for our stall… and of course I’ve got my little helpers Maverick & Annie with me 🐶💛

There’s lots of sorting, packing, and probably a bit of “taste testing” going on (mainly by Maverick 😂)

We’re really looking forward to being part of such a lovely event alongside so many other amazing stalls—huge thank you to Bespoke Events North West for putting it all together 🙌

Now we just need to keep our fingers crossed for a clear, dry day 🤞☀️
and lots of lovely people coming along to support the whole event!

What a beautiful Wednesday it’s turned out to be!

I started the day with a lovely walk with Maverick & Annie 🐾
Plenty of fresh air, wagging tails, and a good dose of sunshine to set us up for the day 💛

They’re both here with me in the shop today, ready to greet you (and accept any fuss they can get 😆)

We’re open until 4pm, so if you’re out enjoying the sunshine, why not pop in and say hello 👋

Behind the scenes, we’re busy getting everything ready – including some lovely new natural treats and goodies that we can’t wait to share with you 👀

Maverick & Annie are in the shop today 🐾

Mav is on full meet-and-greet duty (and probably sniff-testing everything 😂), while Annie is keeping a close eye on things… mainly the treats!
