We will offer 'pop-in services' for let-outs, administering medication, or simply providing company. We are embarking on this venture driven by a lifelong passion for dogs and a commitment to providing exceptional care. My journey to starting this business began in childhood; I have grown up surrounded by dogs and understand the unique bond pet owners share with their companions. My nearly 10-year
-old dog, Cody, continues to fuel my love for dog walking and keeps me active and engaged with the joys of pet ownership every single day. My primary motivation is to create a business that I am genuinely passionate about, allowing me to wake up every morning excited about my work. I thrive on meeting new "doggos" and their owners and look forward to them becoming an extension of my own dog-loving family. Reliability and Trustworthiness:
A key strength I bring to this business is a background of integrity and dependability. I am currently employed by Kent Police, a role that requires regular, intense, high-level background and Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks. This professional background instils a strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and trust, offering clients peace of mind that their pets and homes are in safe hands. Business Goals:
Currently, I am working full-time and managing family ("mum") duties, so I will initially operate the dog walking services around these existing commitments. However, the long-term aim is for this business to become my full-time career, allowing me to dedicate all my professional energy to expanding the services and client base. Services Offered:
Services will include solo walks for dogs requiring individual attention, group walks to provide socialization opportunities, standard lead walks, and off-lead country walks for suitable dogs. Service Area and Surcharges:
Our primary service area with no extra charge will cover Hawkinge, Etchinghill, Lyminge, Elham, East Hythe, and Postling. A £5 extra charge will apply for services in Saltwood, Cheriton, Sandgate, West Hythe, and Seabrook to cover additional travel time and fuel costs. In addition to walking, we will offer 'pop-in services' for let-outs, administering medication, or simply providing company for a fee of £10 for 30 minutes. Operational Hours (Initially):
Initial operating hours will be Monday and Tuesday from 15:30 to 20:30, and Friday from 15:30 to 18:00. This schedule is designed to accommodate initial demand and is planned to be extended to full-time hours as the client base grows, and the business becomes more established. Legal and Financial
