Recall now includes all years fresh dog food.

Following the voluntary recall of all Years Fresh Meals, we know your first thought will be for your dog, whether they’re safe, what you should feed them and how you can continue caring for them.

To be clear, this recall is a precaution. Our investigation has identified a potential link between buckwheat, an ingredient used in many dog foods, and reported cases of dry eye. Lab testing will confirm this, but we've taken the decision not to wait.

Dogs' health & wellbeing have always driven us, and that means acting now rather than waiting for absolute certainty.

Please stop feeding any Years Signature Meals immediately, even if your dog seems well. When choosing an alternative, we recommend continuing with complete & balanced fresh food with wholefood ingredients.

We’ve paused all Years subscriptions. Upcoming orders will be cancelled and refunded automatically to your original payment method. If an order is in transit, please refuse this and contact Customer Care to receive your account credit.

Alongside our ongoing investigation, we’re reformulating our meals without buckwheat, with your dog's wellbeing at the heart of every decision, so, when Years returns, you can feel fully confident filling their bowl again.

We're thinking of every dog who’s been affected and every family caring for them through such a worrying and difficult time.

We’re deeply sorry for the worry this has caused. We know how much your dog means to you, and we want to ensure you’ve clear information, guidance and help throughout.

As of September, we will be changing our SATURDAY opening times back to 5pm close. We never want to lose out on customers getting a chance to pop in for their essentials with us. WE APPRECIATE IT SO MUCH! We know there have been several times throughout the year when we have sadly been closed, there’s been a lot going on this year. But we hope that by opening later on Saturdays, it’ll be easier for customers to park and it gives you more time to drop by without rushing for 4pm closure. It’s not nice to think of it, but we get thieves in the town A LOT, we have a very strong town business owner community and we are all here to support and protect each other. This man was arrested yesterday. We are grateful for the action of the police and incredibly sorry for those businesses who had to deal with his horrible behaviour.

Yesterday, the Lutterworth Beat Team arrested prolific shoplifter Michael Church following a number of reported shop theft offences affecting local businesses. 🚓

Church was identified and located by officers. When officers attempted to speak with him, he ran from the area. Officers carried out further checks and located him at a nearby property, where he was arrested. 👮‍♂️

Michael Church has now been charged with multiple shop theft offences and has been remanded into custody. ⚖️

Officers have worked closely with local businesses, reviewed CCTV and carried out targeted patrols in areas affected by shop theft. Church is well known to retailers due to a long history of repeated offending, and this action has been taken to protect the community and reduce further harm.

We will continue to work closely with local businesses and take positive action in response to reports of shop theft.

If you witness shop theft or suspicious behaviour, please report it to us. Your information allows us to respond quickly and take appropriate enforcement action. 📞
