π WALKING DOGS π
The current forecast is that the weather next week is getting warmer and we always put safety first. We will not walk any dog if we feel it is too hot and unsafe to do so as your furbabies are my priority. I will not put them at risk for anything. It is looking like we are in for a mini heatwave so therefore will be too hot to walk your dog/s past the morning so we have three options.
1. A 7am or 9.30am (at the very latest) walk. We will stick to shaded areas and where there is opportunity to go into rivers and into running water. We want to make sure they are finished and home before the midday heat. Please bear in mind if temperatures rise too fast we will be sticking to the earlier times.
2. A later walk - in the evening when it is cooler and safer - please bear in mind this may not be viable if the temperatures do not drop.
3. Home visits which will be a smaller charge of Β£10 for half hour.
I understand some of you are home through the day and wonβt need this, but if you do require home visits OR would like to swop to earlier walks for your dogs please let me know ASAP.
I will also try and contact you all but can you please let me know ASAP of your choice.
During the home visits I will give your dog a toilet break, check their water and do some form of play for them to help them burn energy without the worry of them becoming too hot π₯΅
If you do have a sprinkler or similar this would be fantastic
Obviously if the weather does change and itβs cooler than predicted walks will resume but this is looking unlikely at this time.
Iβll play it by ear day by day but from the forecast this is looking like all week but
we will monitor the temperatures as the week goes on.
Iβm happy to swap walk days too if this works better for you !! π
Please let me know your preferences and help me to keep your furbabies safe π πΆ π
