She broke her leg. Her first thought was letting the groomer down. ๐
She was getting ready to take Otto, her wire-haired dachshund, to the groomers. Slipped on dog slobber in the kitchen. Went down. Broke her leg.
And lying there, screaming, the thing she panicked about wasn't the ambulance. It was cancelling the appointment.
So she scrolled back through every message on her phone to remember the business name. Found the website. The website said don't leave me a message, I can't get back to you. Found a number, rang it, got a relative, and in between groans and screams asked them to pass on that Otto wasn't coming.
She'd searched for ages to find this groomer. Wanted someone who strips dachshunds rather than clips them. Only one she could find. That's a client who really cares. And she still couldn't reach her.
Then we asked her to cancel the same booking on Tuft. One tap. She's got arthritis in her fingers and still said: "That was easy, yeah."
Your clients aren't ignoring you. They just can't always get to you. ๐พ
